Easy to set up and use

Purchased for my wife and she was able to adjust it for her height (5'5) so it is comfortable enough to explore for a while. Pretty lightweight but she says a shoulder strap would come in handy. Fairly easy to operate and does a decent job of detecting metals. Took a bit of playing around with the settings to get the hang of it but overall she's happy with it.

The metal detector was easy to assemble and easy to use. Lite weight and easy to maneuver. The reason why I purchased it was because I lost my wedding ring Thursday - on a baseball field!Despite knowing where I misplaced it, and looking for hours, I was not able to find it with just the “naked-eye” since it was getting dark out.So I went on Amazon and looked up metal detectors. Filtered only prime items. I saw the first metal detector that would be delivered the next day. I ordered it Thursday and it came in Friday - perfect!It was delivered by a very kind and professional Amazon employee, Ivan, who handed it to me. I immediately assembled the item and went back to the field. Within only 30 minutes I was able to find my ring! The media could not be loaded.  This is a Great Metal Detector with Fast Shipping. It came in 2 days and only took 5 minutes to assemble with no tools.I waited over a week to post a real review and I am really enjoying this detector. I have used it to find Survey Stakes on my property and nails and screws I dropped in the yard.Great for beginners and simple to use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice Detector at a Great price.

Super device for the money! Works great!! Very accurate! Only negative is that it doesn’t come with a belt holster.

#1 It was shipped in the actual manufacturers box vs an Amazon box, glad this was not a present for another family member.#2 Upon unboxing first thing I noticed was that the headphones had already been opened with the staple that closed the clear package had already been torn open, the headphones had trash on the foam ear pads and the headphones are all scratched up. Needless to say those headphones are not touching my ears after seeing this.#3 The face of the screen is all scratched and marred up like it had been used before, I understand this is on the protective film but how did it get that way if it hadn't been opened and used?#4 There are scratches around where the cable attaches again like it had been put together and used before.#5 The wires for the two 9v batteries need to be a little longer, be very careful not to pull them out trying to plug in the batteries and get them in the battery compartment.#6 The inside of the handle of the supplied mini shovel is rusted and the threads are really rough but it did screw together ok. The case for the shovel that hooks on your belt is only designed to hold the shovel while it is folded and the handle is unscrewed off of it separately, who wants to assemble and disassemble the shovel in-between each dig? It is basically useless.#7 When assembled I am right handed, when you are using the metal detector the control head is canted away from your body which makes it awkward to view.As for operation I have only so far tested it inside and it does work as stated, it does know the difference between a penny, nickel, quarter and a screw but only picks them up from a maximum of about 4-5 inches even on full sensitivity with them simply laying on the floor which leads me to believe it is not going to perform well on anything buried but we will see.It is easy to figure out the operation despite the usual badly written instructions written in bad English, it is also fairly light which is good and was very simple to assemble which are good points.I have a feeling it is getting returned if nothing else for the fact it looks used and the trash on the headphones I do not want touching me right out of the package.

Tried several times to get it to work then when did gave several false readings. Not worth the money
