They tore on backside after about 3 hours of wearing them and all I did while wearing them was watch a movie and lounged around. They tore exactly like other have stated in their reviews in the same exact area too. One of the biggest wastes of money. Just get some quality Adidas shorts for the same price or cheaper.

This new incarnation of the classic 90's umbro checkerboard short is really poorly made -- the seems all start to fall apart after a year or so of casual wear (whereas I still have a pair of my Umbros from 25 years ago!). Still, I really missed the feel of these nylon shorts, so I keep coming back for more. Pockets are an awesome touch!

No give in them at all. If you have any sort of tummy you feel constricted.

These tore from the waistband to the grundle within a week of light use. I use them for mostly sleeping. I have 2 vintage pairs I have been wearing for 20 years, these are not made to the same quality as they once were.

To all those who complain that they rip, the nylon on these shorts makes the best boxers you'll ever find on this planet. The worst news is, that Umbro discontinued this exact nylon, if you scored one of these that is part of this batch you're a lucky duck. The others by Umbro have thicker nylon which is likely a response to the whiners about it ripping. Sure the thicker nylon makes great shorts, but not as well as boxers.
