STICK IT

This movie is so fun, it inspires me to want to join the Olympics. I probably never will as I am 180 lb and live a sedentary lifestyle but it gives me a brief burst of inspiration that raises my dopamine levels and makes my day a bit better.

Great movie! It’s a classic that I watch every year with my girls!

Teenage movies can be cheesy, but I love gymnastics so I finally bought this movie. There’s lots of great gymnastics and the story line is fairly good. They poke fun at the coaches a bit. I love it when they stick it to the judges. The judging scores are frustrating when a gymnast does an amazing routine. That was a nice twist.Love the extras. Special features are one of the reasons I still buy dvds.

Great movie, blast from the past!

Love this movie

While this movie did not win any awards and the script is only okay, both my kids and I like the film. Actually, my girls (11 and 13) have loved it for years and want to watch it multiple times a year. This film, to me, is one of the best gymnastics movies we've seen. The women in the film are powerful and beautiful in their art. When my daughters get tired and want to skip a gymnastics workout, I only have to reference the movie, and they quit complaining because they can see how much time serious gymnasts have to put into a practice to be successful. Jeff Bridges is always fun to watch, too. So as a mom I give the movie 4 out of 5 stars because it is mildly entertaining with decent acting but great sports sequences. My kids, however, would give it 6 out of 5 because they think it is cool, and they like the story better than the American Girl gymnastics movie.

This movie has a storyline that my granddaughter and I could both get into… she loves gymnastics as did I as a young girl…the storyline is probably best suited for teenagers, but no foul language or topics of controversy, no adult content that is too much for a family. All in all, great movie!
