I have seen this be utilized on outdoor cooking shows so I ordered one. It arrived and I was impressed with its heft and wall thickness. While it comes pre-seasoned, I seasoned it with flax oil after heating it in a hot fire. It’s been over six months and no rust. I apply oil to it after each use. It’s large enough for 6-8 people (8 quart) and cooks very fine. I deep fry in it as well as make stews. I’ve accidentally dropped the lid on concrete a few times and it was undamaged. I could not find this long leg style at retail stores so I ordered it on Amazon. No regrets at all.

The most important part of the bottom of the pot is damaged. This pot is defective and cannot be used normally, which will stick to the bottom of the pot. It will soon break. We hope that the staff will insist on shipping it well and not waste everyone's time. I need to return it. Thank you

Ordered "Used, good." Pictured with a lid, delivered without one. Naturally it's going back, but was otherwise in good shape.

It is well made and sturdy. I think it’s a good price for this size. I added a picture of a pop can inside it for a size reference. I also think it’s made beautifully and very aesthetically pleasing.

I’m a private chef and wanted this pot to make some proper South African food for my crew mates and this was what was received. The box I received it in was in fine condition so one can only assume this was sent as pictured. Waste of money and seller should be embarrassed.

Sadly, I was terribly disappointed. This was a very heavy cast iron product. It was only in a card board package with No packing paper or stuffing of any kind! No wonder this heavy product was broken!
