Cable works as intended at a great price.
I use the sync cord with an above the camera bracket. The cord works as intended. My only issue is that the end that attaches to the bracket and then you attach the flash to it is plastic. The weight of the flash eventually causes the piece that locks into the bracket to break away. I’m on my third cable in two years. It’s not just this one. It seems they’re all the manufacturers make them the same way. I reinforced the bracket with electrical tape by wrapping it around the entire area and cutting away the tape to expose the flash pins connections. So far, so good. I think it has solved the problem.

A useful accessory for using your TTL flash off camera
This cord works perfectly with my recently purchased Opteka flash, allowing all the TTL functions to work with the flash off camera. Whether aimed at the ceiling or directly at the subject or through a photo umbrella, exposures remained constantly good. One small beef, but not enough to reduce this from a 5-star rating, is the 3 meter claim in the item description. While they may have started with a 3m wire before it was coiled, you can in no way extend it that far. I would say that its useful working length is about 3 1/2 feet. Beyond that it is pulling too hard. Calling this a 9 or 10 foot long cord is really a "stretch." Still a good item; well made.

Affordable Solution, cheap plastic
Works great for off camera TTL metering. Keep in mind the part of the extension that holds your possibly heavy Speedlight is made of cheap plastic. I had mine placed into a hotshoe-holding rig and the plastic mount snapped from the weight of my light as I rotated the rig. Luckily there is a standard screw mount on the bottom right where the plastic gave way so I can still use it- just not as quick and easy to detach. I personally wouldn't buy this product again for that flimsy plastic alone, but I will continue to use the one I have since it still works great!

Does the job pretty well
Works great with my Nikon D7100 and Nikon SB800 flash. My only complaint is that the flash unit doesn't fit snugly into the slot at the flash end of the cord, so I have to be careful the flash doesn't fall out. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do... allows off camera flash, and that's a good thing!

The thin piece of plastic that attaches it to the flash bracket broke in half rendering it useless. I thought that maybe it was
The TTL function works well. However, it attaches to the flash bracket with a very thin piece of plastic. It broke from the weight of the flash before I even got to use it for a professional gig. The first one I brought broke the same day I received it while I was testing it with a light sphere diffuser. The thin piece of plastic that attaches it to the flash bracket broke in half rendering it useless. I thought that maybe it was my fault. Perhaps the modifier was too heavy. Therefore, I brought another one. However, without a light modifier attached to flash, it broke in the same fashion at a pro gig before I even snapped the first pic.Like I said, the TTL function works well. But the cheap thin piece of plastic that attaches it to a flask bracket renders it completely useles.

Perfect Length and Function
All flash communication functions work perfectly and holding a flash at arms length from the camera results in no slack or strain on the cord. This 3 meter coiled cord is the perfect length for me; I'm six feet tall. My camera is a Nikon d750 and I'm using an Altura i-TTL flash. Plastic heads on the cord feel of less quality than the plastic of the camera and the flash unit, but the heads feel like they will last for the life of the camera and flash if I handle them decently.

Cheap Plastic...
The cord works with my nikon d5000 and my speedlight sb700, but the major setbacks are a plastic hotshoe connection and housing. The plastic housing is separating under the weight of my flash. Which by comparison is a very small flash. If the housing was to completely separate then my flash would fall to the ground. It's worth the extra money to buy a more expensive ttl cord in order to protect the investment of the flash unit.

Great but you may want something longer, think about it.
Keep in mind that however long 3 meters seems in concept... it may not be long enough for your needs! If you're looking to trigger a flash somewhere beyond where your own arm would reach... this is not the right cord! (For a studio or other off-camera flash set-ups you may want something closer to 30 ft). Works very well & as described.
