LUXE Shanghai (LUXE City Guides) Paperback – February 1, 2014

As others point out, it's fun to read and may give you a few ideas here and there but can't be used as a primary guide. I was also of the mistaken belief that it was a guide book of some sorts but it's really just a two-sided pamphlet folded into a palm-sized book. While it says it's a guide to "Cambodia and Laos", it only provides guidance on the cities of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia and Luang Prabang (and tiny bit of Vientiane) in Laos.

This guide is to complement your research to plan a trip, not as a main source of information.It provides good and useful information for people who are not on a budget.I crossed the hotel tips with Tripadvisor and the recommendations are really goods.This is not recommended for the budget traveler.

Very kitschy, a fun read, but don't use this as your primary guide for Cambodia. Hotel recommendations are great.

Luxe guides have the best advice and are written by people with local knowledge. I've not been disappointed yet.

Weak. A huge disappointment. Don't waste your money.
