Comfort and durability
I’ve tried several ice packs for my foot/toe and wrist. This is so comfortable. I saw some reviews that say the cold doesn’t last long but I found it lasted as long enough that I could bear it. I also used this on forehead for headaches. And easily used for grandkids when they fell. This is much better than an ice pack. I’ve bought both sizes.

Soft fabric ice pack
This Medineed wrist ice pack cuff works great for bothersome carpal tunnel after working at desk for long hours. The fabric is so nice and smooth. The ice pack can be stored in the fridge or freezer. For the small, it's still pretty loose around my small wrist and can be used up my arm too. With all the gel ice packs I have tried, the cold doesn't last more than 10-20 minutes against body heat. But having is better than nothing.

Easy ice and heat pack
This gel pack is easy to use for both icing and heating. I had multiple breaks in my wrist due to a car accident 3 months ago and have been doing therapy and stretches to regain flexibility, including applying heat before stretching, then icing after to reduce swelling. Being able to slip this on over my wrist and wear it is much nicer than trying to hold a stiff towel-wrapped ice/heat pack on my arm. This wearable pack gives you 360 degrees around of cool/heat vs holding a flat ice pack. It is also very compact to fit in the freezer. I would say you need 2 of them, though, if you want to alternate heat and ice because it takes hours to get cold. After being in the freezer overnight, it does get VERY cold, but retains its flexible gel feel; it does not get rigid like other gel packs I have. Instructions say to leave it on for 10 minutes, and that's about all the cooling you will get out of it because it warms up fast.It fits very loose, so you probably wouldn't wear this while being active, but it should fit a larger person comfortably without cutting off circulation or anything. And you could use it further up your arm, on your hand, ankle, or foot. Or you can use it on a small spot like any regular ice pack. As a bonus, it is the perfect size to use as a drink can koozie when I no longer need it for my wrist, lol.I will point out that the instructions on the box do NOT match those on the card inside. One says to put it in the refrigerator, one says the freezer. I put mine in the freezer and that was fine. It also gives different heating times. This is going to depend on the wattage of your microwave, regardless, so just do short increments until it gets to the temperature you prefer and take note of your individual needs. It also warmed up really nicely sitting in the mailbox on a hot day when it first arrived, haha.

Wrist, arm, or leg gel pack
Going by the weight for the sizing guide seems like the wrong units to size the wrist gel pack. The large is what I should need based on the guide but it's too big for my wrist. The circumference is about 8 inches for the large which fits my mid arm, foot arch, and mid leg better. The sizing guide should use circumference instead.Aside from the sizing, it freezes soft and provides about 10 minutes of focused cooling. It can also be heated.

Works great!
It's a very odd feeling little wrap. We used it for my mil's ankle. She has some major swelling in it. It worked great! It is reusable and freezes just enough to help, but not enough to cause it to be so stiff that it is unusable.

Does not stay cold very long. Slides out of place easily
The media could not be loaded. It’s good for about five minutes. Maybe not even that.I have very large hands and pretty good size wrists, and this thing slides down on my arm off my wrist joint way too easily for it to be effective even for typing. Buy something that is adjustable.

Love it!
Getting older, everything starts hurting more. Quite frankly, it sucks. Items like these help with the daily pains though.I don't have wrist pain at all, but when I saw this item, I immediately thought about my constant foot pain and the STRUGGLE I have with finding anything that will just stay on my foot! I decided to try it out and I have to say I'm in heaven. I put it in the freezer overnight and then freeze the utter shenanigans out of my foot, then I heat it up to alternate between hot and cold. Being that there's only one in the pack I can only do that once a day though, and the cold part is what I like best.If this was a 2 pack, I'd give it 10 stars, but since it's a 1 pack...I'm just going to have to buy a second one! I know this says wrist pain, but truly if you have feet pain and struggle like me to find something easy to use and comfortable, BUY THIS! It's also really soft if that makes a difference. After freezing it doesn't turn into a board like most other gels, but the cold also doesn't last as long.

make sure to order the right size!
it came really handy recently when my wrist started hurting for a few days after sleeping not right. It is much better than a general ice pack as it stays where it is supposed to and you don't need to hold / balance in place. Having said that I ordered a large and it was a little loose around wrist but was fine around elbow. If your arms are thin, you might want to go with small. Overall, its a good ice pack for wrist that may be used for elbow!
