Q: Does this need to be seasoned?

It says nothing about seasoning this pan on the web page however when you read the fine print when it’s delivered it tells you to season it... put it in the oven & has detailed instructions. Where I live it’s super hot right now and the last thing I want to do is turn on my oven. I probably would’ve skipped over this purchase if I knew it needed to be seasoned, but I was going by all the other answers to this question. So it’s stashed away until cooler days.

Q: I want to cover the pot with a glass lid, if I have the proper size for the opening would it cover the pot easily or would the handles be in the way?
