Q: Is this hat low profile ? Low fitting sounds like it rests on your ears?

'Low profile' may be a matter of personal opinion. I find that a six-panel hat (seam on your forehead) is generally NOT as low as a five-panel hat. This hat (based on pic) is a six-panel hat. Notice it is described as 'without buckram', so there is no stiffener applied to the front panel(s). THAT is going to tend toward a 'low profile' hat. '..rests on your ears' to me means a too big hat (too small a head) sitting too low. I've seen hat wearers with their ears actually tucked INTO their hat. ...there is no accounting for taste. Notice the responses to your question vary from 'yes' to 'no'. The best answer to your question is, 'YMMV'. I know hats only by having worn 'em for decades. Sometimes hats a 'just right', sometimes, you can't MAKE 'em fit comfortably.
