Overall a great saw but it does have a couple small niggles which are:Power cable comes off the back of the frame and is very vulnerable to damageAlso the rubber feet keep falling off which is a pain if you have to carry the saw very far as i have lost two in the 1st week of owning the saw.Otherwise a very good saw

fantastic value replaced my dewalt, might not last as long but a good saw

Low price = low quality
Whilst at the cheaper end of the scale for this sized mitre the lack of quality really shows. It needed everything setting up out of the box and due to the low quality and poor tolerances it goes out of true very easily.

Not the best saw for the price
I have had this saw for about year now. It was a big disappointment from metabo. Problems started right at the beginning. First I noticed that the blade and the fence are not square. So i adjusted that. Second, blade and the base were also not square, ok it is adjustable. When I got all set up correctly it was still not cutting straight. The problem was that the slider "drifts" about 2mm to the left side of the base. So if I make cut 305mm using slider the blade forces itself against left side of the workpiece and therefore bends the blade right making twisted cut. So if yo make a cut like 300x100mm piece it'll be square at the beginning of the cut and out of square on the other end when you push the slider all the way back. If you use that saw locked down on mitersaw position it is possible to make square cut. Also the base of the saw and turntable are not aligned, turntable is tilted down to right about 1mm. And finalli worklight and laser went out about 1 month after i got this saw. Blade woble was also quite big on that saw. Left to right about 1mm, but i got that fixed grinding the flange. I have adressed local reseller about these problems and metabo headquarter about these problems, but they said that all those issues are in normal tolerance of that tool.
