Five Brand Comparison - Beziiee is #1
Because my ears have very narrow ear canals, and one of them takes a 90 degree bend and goes straight up, I am particular about my ear plugs. Because I use earplugs for active motor sports, shooting, and chainsaw work in Silverstone Circuit, over the ear protection isn't always practical. I recently purchased 5 different brands of earplugs and put them to the test. Here's what I found, sorted for most to least favorite.Beziiee Ultra Soft - My personal favorite, also the least expensive. They share the same small diameter of the Hearos Ultimate Softness, but are a bit more firm and a few millimeters longer. So, for me, they did a better job of subjective sound dampening, and were a bit easier to grip and pull back out. My tests are mostly in warm weather. In very cold weather, these could be too firm for some users.Howard Leight Laser Lite soft foam - These were the softest, most comfortable plugs I tested. they were the second cheapest, and also my second favorite. My daughter doesn't like earplugs, as they really bother her ears, but she was at least able to tolerate these. I think most people would be pretty happy with these, however, they were not my favorite for two reasons. First reason is that they seemed to stop slightly less high-pitched sound than the other plugs. Subjectively, these were at the lower end of sound blocking, but still adequate for most tasks. My only other ""complaint"" is that these seemed to take the longest to spring back to shape and fill the ear because they are very soft. This makes them feel a bit like they might fall out for the first minute or two, and their 2-3 millimeter shorter length makes them every so slightly more difficult to grip and remove. Both minor complaints, and these are very good plugs.Earhub ear plugs - As the name implies, subjectively, these blocked the most sound of all the ones I tested. They have the same larger diameter as the 3M plugs, but are easily twice as soft/half as firm. They gave a very full feeling to the ears, but were not uncomfortable. they were the most expensive plugs tested. They were the most effective and were quite comfortable, but the beziiee's were 95% as good, and less than half the cost. These went into my shooting kit and would be my third selection, for use when max protection for a shorter wear period is ideal.Beary Quiet-These plugs have a bell shape. I did not find that the shape made any improvement to sound dampening. These were on par with the beziiee's for noise suppression. The downside of the wide end is that there is more material in your outer ear, which could be uncomfortable for some, and also perhaps less aesthetically appealing. However, if you're in charge of safety compliance, that extra bit makes it much easier to visually see that someone is wearing hearing protection, and it did leave more to grip for removing the plugs. These were the second most expensive, and I do not recommend.3M 1100 - These are what was issued to me for my 22 years of military service, and the benchmark from which I was judging. About the only positive thing I'll say about them is that they came individually packaged by pairs, so you can carry or store them in dirty or wet environment easily, but these were absolutely the least comfortable of the ones I tested. For me, they are much too firm, and also have the largest diameter of the group. In very cold weather, they would be nearly solid. They quickly made my ears sore/itchy. As much as I usually love 3M products, I do not recommend these. For those who care about such things, I tested these several ways. I wore each pair for about an hour just to get subjective feel for long term comfort. The exception was the 3M, which I could not leave in the entire hour because they were uncomfortable. Then to test for noise reduction, I put one brand in one ear and a different brand in the other ear and work for half an hour, then switch ears. During the test, I listened to speech, music, traffic noise, etc, and noted which plugs seemed to be most effective.

Decent ear plugs but a bit overpriced
Decent ear plugs and work well. A little overpriced so minus 1 star. They bear repeat use and can be washed in soapy water after wish they require a couple of days to dry and shrink back to normal size.

Not that great at blocking noise
Ok for the money, comfortable but not noise blocking enough for me.

Very comfortable to use. I’m a light sleeper and these are great and very effective at stopping noise and helping me to get back to sleep. Comes in a nice little case so also ideal for when I’m away!

Thought they were good but...
Best plugs I've ever used, they work! You have to get them right down the ear canal which can be difficult for me with my big clumsy fingers but once in they work & can hardly feel them there, won't ever use any other againI doubt they have the layers advertised just seem like foam to me but higher quality than other plugs I've used*This is an update after use for a while they do work as I mentioned & are very good if you put them right inside your ear canal (can be difficult I wet the end before applying) the downside is when I came to wash them in soapy water as suggested all over Google they wash good but once dry they won't stay compressed long enough for application, I know these are supposed to be single use but whey give them a carry case if that's the case? I wouldn't spend £5 on 5 pairs of throwaway ear plugs. I've also cut one open & you can see from the photos there's no layers to it they're just sponge so the seller is lying about their makeup in the photos on this advert.

Amazingly comfortable and great sound blocking
I have to wear earplugs every night due to my partner and our dog snoring. I have tried loads of different types and these are by far the best. They block out the noise well enough to sleep, but you can still be woken by an alarm clock which is essential, However the game changer for me is the shape, they are super soft and once rolled between the ringer and thumb they squish into a very thin shape which makes for easy insertion into the ear (note the comparison photo with my previous ear plugs in the photo). Also the contoured shape means that they are comfortable even when they have expanded in your ear, unlike the others which have no contouring (see pic). I woke up this morning without any discomfort for wearing them (the others used to make my inner ears itch in the morning. Definitely recommend these comfortable noise blocking earplugs

Officially Impressed
I have tried so many different earplugs since my wife started snoring (really loudly) and I am really impressed and happy with these. I have tried everything from wax plugs to silicone to expensive mouldable earplugs and have found these to be better than any of them. So far they have blocked out everything including the construction site nearby from this morning. They are easy to put in, fit nice and feel good in my ears. Definitely a great purchase that will be repeated over and over.

Best earplugs I’ve used in years
I am a very light sleeper and have been using earplugs for many years. I have small ear holes and I’ve really struggled for the last few years to find something that is comfortable and works (from Loop to the swimming waxy ones, to many foam ones, including the Mack’s for small ears). Everything hurt within 5-50 minutes, and some didn’t even seem to do much for blocking noise. These earplugs have given me my solid sleep back. I hear nothing, I feel nothing. I found these after reading another’s review of about 5 different brands. So happy!

Quite good
I am quite happy with these foam ear plugs and the nice hygienic container all 6 pairs come in together and they are hypoallergenic and washable with mild soap and water as well made out of good quality memory foam but not too soft that they lost their shape. I highly recommend them to anyone who has trouble sleeping and staying asleep.
