It mounts to picatinny and it fits well. For one of my rifles, I only had a small sling hook. This ring allows me to use a more traditional two point sling that also helps if one intends to do something silly like practice drill.

QD sling attachment pulled out while putting on my shoulder.

It mounts firmly to a Picatinny rail, but the mounting screw could be a bit longer - it doesn't screw in to be flush to the end of the mount. It would just give me a better feeling of it being secure if the screw was able to screw fully into the mount.The swing swivel works great with it's own attachment (my husband try to pull the two apart to test this) however it will not fully engage into another standard QD mount - it's jiggly and can just be pulled out without having to press the release button.I think for the price point it's a great deal, especially if you don't plan on using it with any other QD system.

These are very well made QD Sling swivel mounts !Made of a Hardened Steel metal. It’s lightweight but feels very solid . It’s easy to install and fits very nicely on my picatinny rail . I feel very comfortable using it that it will hold love that it swivels to avoid any kinking . Very good price point for this item !

In a world of plastic it's nice to see a quality build in gun accessories, and EASTERN TACTICAL impresses a tough judge. This QD (Quick Detach) all metal anodized swivel will fit both Picatinny and Weaver rails which is GREAT! The base attaches with the included Allen wrench nice and snug, no worries about pulling off at an inopportune moment. The sprung Ball Bearing QD is spot on (I recommend a very light gun oil treatment first time out--sparingly) and the strap hook works well with all my slings.At $7.99 (as of this review) it's a very competitive price if not an outright bargain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
