Wow. Wish I'd known about these before. Absolutely brilliant and easy to use on my quilts or any fabric that needs marking for sewing. Easily wipes off (when you want it to). Excellent for using with a quilter's quarter.

Can stain fabric
Handy product but please don't a numty like me and use the grey on white fabric!! It got ground in and stained a quilt so I'm hoping a little TLC and gentle agitation will bring it out. It's getting a second wash as I'm writing this. To be fair it's my first purchase and I've obviously gone a bit heavy in places so lesson learnt... the hard way! I'm not slating these pens in any way, with the correct use, the chalk does blow away, so I just need to be careful next time... I'm sure the professionals have bad days!

Draws a neat line
I like this marker pen because the silver chalk shows up on most fabric, yet brushes off easily. It's also fine enough at the end to mark inside my crosshair ruler.

Brilliant Chalk liners, easy to brush off fabrics after use or simply just spray a sprinkle of water from a spray bottle and it's gone!

Fine lines for precise marking
I bought this chalk liner a while ago and then took a break from sewing for a few months since the kids were home for the summer. Really hard to sew with a 3 year old and 6 year old in the house all the time! Now that school is back in session, I finally got a chance to break out some fabric and sew. I made a box pleat skirt for my daughter and needed to mark a lot of lines, both for cutting the pieces and for marking the pleat fold lines. Wow! This was so much better than my old tailors' chalk blocks. The lines are finer and I can really get them up against the ruler for very precise measurement marking. And just like the other chalk, this brushes away without a trace. I am so happy I bought this and I know I will be using it on many future projects. The silver showed up well on both light and dark fabric. This color will probably be my go-to but I think I will buy other colors as well for those times when the silver won't show up well.
