I should have waited, not for under 7 year olds.
I'm son is really into build kits and science experiments. He is only 7, but I thought this would be ok. I should have waited. He was interested for a while, but then got frustrated and I ended up basically doing all of it myself. I definitely think older kids would have fun with this.

Disappointing
The mast is too large to fit in the block so we cannot even try the toy out. This was for a birthday gift.

At the price its a fun craft to learn from with the right person guiding helping
Overall everything worked fine. Needed to adjust/modify some parts as they didn't fit easily but we got everything running. At the price point its fun and if you take the time to talk to the science behind the toy and its operations like propulsion, why/how it moves, or gravity, like what it doesn't fly off the ground (or from a mass perspective if it makes it easier). If the talk could go deep enough you could talk about forces, the force of gravity on the wheels or such, and maybe friction as it applies to say the wheels and why this would explain why (minus propulsion fuel haha). The list of engineering and Physics topics that could be discussed is long but perhaps at a young Childs age it could be boring or hard to understand.Still, fun little STEM toy and worth it from my side as it also matches something my younger girl did in her GATE program at school.
