Tumia LACTumia - Colonial Folder Style Panama - Natural with Black Band - Beathable and Stylish

I could not speak highly enough of Tumia LAC. The hat I received from Amazon came repackaged - not in a box - no fault of the company. I contacted Tumia direct and they wasted no time at all in posting out a new one.The hat is of excellent quality - very impressed.I recommend this company without reservation.

Ths is my second such hat -though slightly different from my first buy,(a good thing, as the fkirst is still going strong many years afterwards). My grandfather wore them too. Ecuador is the proper source of these hats and 'toquilla' straw the proper material. Liked the accompanying card which gives the origin of the hat and its history - 'Panama' becaues this was popular headgear in the construction of that engineering marvel. Whyn do I need two hats? One for best of course.

Great quality colonial style Panama. The hat arrives in with a brim label in cm , which is an accurate and comfortable fit (but not that straightforward to work out from the traditional hat sizes (7 1/4; 7 3/8 etc))

My order for this hat arrived very quickly and beautifully packed with all instructions. I tried it on and the fit was excellent and I have to say the quality exceeded my expectations. I have only worn it once or twice so far and the fit is comfortable. I can't wait for more beautiful summer sunshine so that I can wear it more. This hat arrived promptly as posted. I had a query on the order confirmation, the hat size did not appear on the order, I contacted Tumi and they assured me of the correct size. Well done to Tumi, it is a well made hat and considerably cheaper than the models I have seen in the high street. Highly recommended product and and very good service.

Just as i expected, good weaving. The only thing wrong now is you cannot get a Panama, with a Leather inside band. I have been living abroad and will shortly again. I perspire easily, so salt marks appear on Hat band. In the past had a one with a leather inside band,got eating by a horse!
