Works for well pumps
The 1/8 tap bit worked for rethread on a standard drain plug hole o a well pump. It cut and cleaned out the corrosion.

Good taps and storage case!
I only needed the 3/4 inch tap for my water heater in the camper! It worked great to clean the the threads. For the price it was worth the whole kit!

just perfect to have in camping equipment, the tapes were used on a hot water tank to reconnect water lines. This is something you would not expect to need while camping in am RV!!!!

Great set
Great set even though it broke off. Same thing happened to me with two other sets from leading brands. For general use, save your money and buy this set. Happy with the sizes offered and the carrying case is durable too.

Works as expected
They are accurate to size and seem well made. Have only done a few thread cleanups so not sure on the service life but so far so good. The box is decent. Overall I think a good value for the price if you are not needing for heavy use.

Not hardened tool steel.
The steel it's made of is not hard enough to cut into cast iron. I don't recommend this brand for cast iron.

Good set
I like these but only needed to thread one piece of metal with 4 drilled holes. Not a true test of durability. All pretty standard sizes and nice to have around for when they are needed. Not really much different than the Craftsman Metric set that I own.

Better suited for hole repair?
If you are looking to tap new holes, I would look elsewhere. These seem to be pretty useless. Maybe they are ment more for repairing threads then cutting new ones.
