KYBSR4203 Strut-Plus Complete Assembly

Easy install on a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder. They did restore the ride and stance to original, and have performed well. In my opinion, they are a bit stiff, but I don't mind at all.

First of all the Amazon fitment chart is wrong. I have a 2006 Xterra and I have SR4203 on there right now. Also KYB has a rebate going right now that if you buy and combo of 4 shocks/struts you get $50 if your cost is $301-$500 and a $25 rebate if the total is $300 or below. I measured the spring thickness with digital calipers on the factory springs and the new KYB springs on this strut plus. The KYB is a thicker spring. Not by much but it is. So if you want your Xterra to be restored like it was the day you drove it off the lot these are definitely the ticket. They come with the Excel-G shock. I might add that this front strut assembly pairs very well with KYB Gas-a-just in the rear if you do any towing or have a little weight. You will notice a height increase in the front which actually leveled my X. KYB tells you this on a disclaimer label. They will settle some over time. It is imperative that if you install these at least take your vehicle to have the alignment checked. You may need an adjustment or you might not. An alignment check is much cheaper than premature wear of tires, ball joints, tie rods, and control arms. I don't think I will do a spring change over to new shocks as long as these are around! If you off road the strut plus might not be for everyone but if you're looking for a better all around road/light trail experience these are 110% worth every penny.
