Best decision ever. I love them!
So, we’ve used these on 2/3 cats. One of them (my more spoiled of the three) was mellow as could be putting them on and hasn’t bothered them much since, which was the exact opposite way I thought she’d be. My boy cat, who’s mellow as the day is long HATES them and he chewed off one claw immediately after they were all on, plus two more caps—also the exact opposite from how I thought he’d be. That was 24 hours ago. I just now replaced the two he removed (with no help, and he was cool) and he’s currently going to town trying to remove them. I’m hoping he’ll keep them on because he’s a big boy and he’s super destructive (but he’s sweet…and dumb…and lovable—the white cat in my photos). These caps serve their purpose beautifully though, and my furniture actually stands a chance of surviving now

Take the time to read this. Don’t listen to bad reviews, give these a chance!
We have a kitten that scratches my kid, just because it likes to play and gets rough. I needed a solution other than declawing. I decided to give these a chance. I noticed my kitten is smaller than any I saw reviews of on here (about 12-14 weeks old) but I bought the kitten size and decided I would try it. My first impression was HORRIBLE. Like many reviews here, I thought he can’t retract his claws with these on. I realize now I put way to much glue and it was my fault. You truly only need to fill the caps about 1/3 of the way. Any more than that and they will keep them from retracting their claws and glue will get caked in their fur. I soaked them off with warm water in short intervals for a couple days until they fell off on their own. Then I decided to try again. I filled the caps with 1/3 of the way of glue, filling one and applying one at a time. I gently pushed its claws all the way out and applied and then gently held them on for about 20 seconds until moving to the next. The key is being gentle, keeeping your cat comfortable. Take brakes to give it some pets and comfort because if it jerks it’s paw during the application process you will have glue all over it…another reason why it’s important not to overfill the cap…I find it’s easier to start with the front paws and then do the back because they use their back paws to try and push away from you. This will take a little time and patience to do them all. Now that I’ve learned how to apply them properly, my cat doesn’t mind them at all…they are comfortable and most importantly he can retract his claws since only the tips are stuck in the glue. This is really the most important thing I can stress. You can always add more glue if you don’t put enough to make it stay but it’s so hard to get this glue off if you put to much. I 100% recommend these, if you try them the first time and don’t like them then give them another go because they’re so easy once you practice a bit. Your cat may take a day or so to get used to the feel of them but mine doesn’t mind them at all - or the application process anymore and I’ve only applied them 3 times. Can’t recommend these enough!!

no more scratches! furniture saved!
Wow! Lots of colors - good and bad. There 14 different colors and some glittery ones. Ease of use depends on you and your cat. My cat won't let me touch her paws so the vet has to put them on for me. All the caps come in one bag so you have to fish them out. All in all, though, a great deal for the money if you use them faithfully. They are certainly a lot cheaper than replacing the curtains, shower curtain, furniture, and band-aids to cover scratches, and paint to touch up the wall where she went after the laser light! My husband doesn't complain anymore when the cat attacks his feet. One of our pups no longer minds playing with her because she can't hurt him with her claws. For those of you worried that my kitty can't protect herself from my pup, pup is smaller and the kitty is the one that always initiates play. They are an even match and love each other. My kitty does not like any nail caps, period. We borrowed a cone from the vet to keep her from chewing them off until we knew the glue was good and dry. Just a suggestion if your cat tries to chew them off.My only issue is that I ordered medium and they are way too big for my average sized cat. I will give them to someone with a big cat and order the small size for my kitty. I recommend this product.

I love them, my cats don't.
My cats hate it when it's time for a clip and new caps. Mostly because something foreign is being put on their paws and they have to be held against their will, and what cat enjoys being held against their will? I love them because they can't prick my skin when kneading me or playing around. They can't accidentally ruin clothes and blankies when wearing these.

Best We've Tried So Far! Get it!
Pictured is Luna, our rambunctious angel. She was an affectionate playful stray when we met her and has stayed that way coming into the home. She's about 3 years and 6lbs, just petite. We chose not to declaw, and have bounced between different caps and trimming to no avail. The problem with other caps is that within the hour 1/3 would be off and by the next morning we'd be lucky for half to be on. Trimming for her only works for about 3 days, after that she's resharpened them into dangerous daggers but are still too small for us to safely trim! We're amazed they lasted the night. If you have a small cat who isn't a kitten, the size is just fine. I'd also like to note that other glitter caps are pricey, this is a great bundle if you're looking for bright colors.--Update: TWO DAYS. NO CAP LOSS. NO SCRATCHES. IS THIS REAL LIFE? Buy this bundle if you've had issues with other caps I don't know what sorcery this is but they are all still on.--Almost Three Week Update: She got ONE off, the rest still remain. We are unscratched, and she doesn't seem to even notice them anymore. We will only be buying this kit from here on out. Beyond impressed!!!
