It does not heat up as expected but is ok for normal running of errands. Does not keep the heat for a long period of time. The connecting wires do not detach from the pads so you do have to contend with that. This is ok for your average trip to the grocery store but not recommended for extreme sports or extreme cold.

Cord Isn't Removable
Be aware that there is a cord from the insole to the USB cable, and that cord isn't removable. So if you're wearing them with slippers or any other low-cut shoes, such as sneakers, the cord will be sticking out of the shoe or will be bunched up inside the shoe.

You cannot walk in them
I was surprised to realize that they are only stationary. You cannot move around, if you do, you need to unplug them. I bought them to wear to football games so I was disappointed.

When your out on the boat, this was awesome
Where else to try this product than on the boat with 50 degrees weather.. My feet were nice and toasty. great investment. Will def enjoy it this winter while fishing.

One cord that connects to both at the same time
You can not walk with them on or have boots on because the one cord needs to be able to connect to both
