Not just for SaaS…
What I appreciate most about this book is how actionable it is.Most business oriented books give you juuuust enough to understand the concept, but not the implementation part.Or if they do tell you how to implement, they don’t include the tools. 9/10 this is because have something to sell beyond the book so they leave it out.The authors didn’t do that here. While they do have something to sell beyond the book, that didn’t stop them from giving you want you need to make use of the information they cover.I was able to finish the book itself in 2 days. I really liked the brevity and conversational writing. It’s so easy to get lost in the weeds and over share about a topic like this to the point it becomes counterproductive. They hit just the right mix of needed information and useful actionability. While my product isn’t going to be SaaS, this is honestly a book every business can use. It’s even more helpful to see it used in a different industry because there are insights that just may not come up in my own industry.I look forward to going through the workbook again and tweaking it for my industry and needs, but this was a very enjoyable, inspiring read.

Great practical advice to understand the needs of your customers!
I loved the step-by-step information in this book on how to get a strong understanding of your customer's pains. Most books focus on the pains of potential customers, but one thing I love about this book is that it also explains how to gain insights into the value you are delivering to existing customers. That's huge because existing customers are in the best position to articulate your value and tell you what works and doesn't in your solution. This is a great addition to my innovation library. Highly recommended!

This book builds SaaS careers
I paid $50 bucks for the early-access version of this book in October 2022. It's now May 2023, and in that span of time, the knowledge I gained from this book had a direct impact on me winning and succeeding at the highest paying project I've ever done in my tenure as a SaaS marketing consultant. I'm talking dream client-level winning. In my opinion, this book is on equal footing with April Dunford's Obviously Awesome with regards to the value it brings SaaS marketers. This isn't a book you read once and say "Okay, that was nice." This is the type of book you'll refer to on a regular basis for the entirety of your career. It's not an advertisement for a consultant's $1000-dollar-per-hour coaching sessions disguised as a book. It's an actionable guide to data collection and marketing strategy for B2B SaaS.10/10. Would recommend. Thank you Claire and Gia for sharing this knowledge with the SaaS world!

A marketing must-have to operationalize customer experience
If you're a SaaS company looking to predictably grow your revenue, you'll want to get and read this book before your competition does. It officially launches this week (May 9th), but you can pre-order it today. The book is jam-packed with ideas and concepts to connect with your ideal customers on their terms and validate the real value they get from your product - instead of letting not-quite-accurate assumptions lead your marketing astray.I love a good book - and I read a lot of them. I can say with certainty that you'll want your highlighters and sticky notes at the ready. You'll definitely want to take notes because all the advice and the frameworks are super actionable, no matter how big your team or business is.

The book SaaS founders and marketers need to read RIGHT NOW
This book completely changed how I think about growth for SaaS companies. I took their Customer-Led Growth Certification and got to experience this book live, and I remember my mind being blown when they discussed defining customer-led KPIs. Growth is so much more than just "interviewing customers" and "throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks." Claire and Gia walk you through real-life examples of how to leverage customer insights to find growth opportunities while also giving you ways to operationalize around closing those gaps and generating value for customers on an ongoing basis.I highly recommend it for marketers, founders, and pretty much any leader of growth in a software or SaaS company.Thank you Claire and Gia for this incredible resource! The future is certainly customer-led!

How to *actually* switch to customer-led growth
You probably know it's important to talk to your customers. Detailed and filled with great examples
Admittedly, I'm only a third of the way into this book as I leave this review - but that's how fantastic it is. I have read way too many business books that spend the first three chapters talking about what they're going to talk about; by the end of the book, your notepad is empty. My notebook so far? Six full pages. And I'm only a few chapters in!Without giving too much away, this book is all about building a growth strategy around listening to your best customers. (Not buying checklists of marketing tactics. Not reading a blog post for a list of ideas. Not asking ChatGPT what to do.) And that's one of many takeaways so far --- the kind of takeaway that most other people would write an entire book around. *Listen to your best customers, and use that as the foundation of your growth strategy.* With examples of marketers who have successfully done this. That's all I've got for now! Going back to read the rest. Give it a shot - I got the Kindle version on sale and, like, this is the kind of stuff that should be in a thousand-dollar course. You have nothing to lose here.

Take strategy from theory to reality
Brilliant book. It outlines a framework that makes an actual impact on how to market to your customers. So often there are books that talk about the what, but not about the how. Or they jump straight to practical advice skipping the all-important research and strategy. Great I understand that in theory, but now what do I do?With Forget the Funnel, you can turn theory into reality, truly understand your customer, how to reach them, how to speak to them and what they think about your product. There's no more guessing or projecting. Now that you have the book, the next challenge is persuading your colleagues.

Simple,Actionable and Achievable
This is a masterpiece in marketing communication., written by two current practitioners of common sense. The Customer Led Framework processes and tools that they outline along with the process to achieve both customer and supplier success are relatively easy to see, understand and implement for those with a basic sales and marketing background. It is not based on mind-numbing technospeak but on simple basic concepts and actions. I have read this twice and I would encourage any business operator to give it a look
