** used for 20 oz tumblers
I previously used an air fryer for sublimation projects but I was sick of having them roll around and not having a press so this was a great find for a good price!I pressed my 20 oz metal sublimation tumblers at the tightest pressure setting for 3 minutes on each side and the color turned out radiant! The press does not completely surround the cup while pressing the image- it stays partially open which is why you need to turn it half way through. I would recommend to other sublimation crafters!

Works very well
It came well packaged with foam inserts for protection. Included with the press were heat resistant gloves and instructions. The unit has a robust steel case with strong connections and hardware. Everything had a very industrial look and feel which exude longevity. The latch release for the lid took a little getting used to, but worked fine when I got used to it.After taping my HTV design to the mug (or thermos in my first use) and wrapping it in Teflon, I started to prep the machine. In order to get the proper initial pressure, I inserted the mug/thermos and closed the lid until it latched. I then turned the pressure screw hand wheels until they felt relatively tight, then released the latch. After that, I pushed down on the cover to its latching point, feeling the resistance in order to judge the pressure. It was definitely not an exact science but more of a “that feels right“ scenario.Once I felt that I had the pressure adjustment set correctly, I turned the unit on. Almost immediately my breaker popped. This thing does use a lot of power which means you have to keep an eye out for what else might be plugged in to the same circuit. In our case I think there was an air conditioner on the same circuit. So I moved the unit to a plug in another room, and everything worked fine.I was not a big fan of the control buttons. I found them a little difficult to push, mostly having to use my finger nail to press the button in far enough. Each of the control modes tends to return to home status if you do not push the button fast enough and that time feels a little short especially considering the difficulty with the buttons. Once I got used to it, though, I was able to get the temperature and time set fairly easily. After my initial learning curve, I was able to use the press quite effectively. My first press was on a stainless steel Thermos brand thermos. I pressed for 20 seconds at 315°F. This was using an HTVRONT heat transfer vinyl. I was very pleased with the results. Something worth noting though is that the heat made the Thermos logo device come off of the thermos. This is not something I really care about but worth noting. I will probably replace it with one of my own designs. All things considered. I do really like this press and plan to get a lot of use out of it. It is so much better than trying to juggle your project while pressing it with a heat press not designed for cylinder shapes.

Good Heat Press Machine
This is a great heating press to use for a beginner. I've had the opportunity to use it a bit more frequently and have enjoyed seeing the results of the designs I've made alongside my nieces.

Great heat press
This is a really great heat press and super easy to use. It heats up really quick and the purse itself just feels like it’s really great quality the best part about the whole thing is that every Tumbler or cup I’ve put in comes out with great quality as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s doing or is interested in doing tumblers or cups as this is a really big timesaver and money saver when you don’t have to redo a cup that doesn’t come out right.

Quality
This press comes with 2 heat gloves, and 2 rolls of tape. The suction cups on the button of the press really hold the press in place. It heats up fairly quick. It does what is claims. This isn't going to make sense but the press has weight to it but isn't heavy. I don't know how else to describe it. The lid is a little hard to open. It feels stiff, if that makes sense.
