This is a good affordable gaming monitor that can handle up to 144hz at 1080p. It looks crisp and clear, with good colours, and is comfortable in use.It's fairly basic in terms of connections - just power, HDMI, and headphones. All three are at the rear, meaning the headphone socket is a little impractical unless you want to leave it connected all the time. The power button is also at the rear and functions as a tiny joystick for navigating the UI. This probably sounds like a hassle, but it works fine and keeps the front clear and minimal.The monitor comes with a HDMI cable that's a little short but still nice to have included. The base can tilt, but it can't be raised or lowered. The whole device feels solid and well-made.It cost me £139, but had gone up in price the next day. For the price I paid, I think it's great value. At a higher price I might consider alternatives, ideally with USB integration. But this model does the job of a monitor very well, so ultimately it's hard to fault it, and I can't think of a reason to give it fewer than five stars in each category.

Works well - screen is clear, it has a nice base which doesn't take up too much room on the desk, and contrary to other reviews I can confirm that mine came with both UK and EU plugs.

Great monitor, just a shame it came with a 2 pin European plug so I had buy an adapter before i could use it

The 27'' 144Hz model is the hidden gem I was looking for! Replaced my 2k monitor and it's great - really great, vibrant colours, no ghosting with the IPS panel and no scaling issues like with 1440p awkward resolution. Literally the first thing I opened was the UFO Ghosting test - totally clear on default settings.The menu "joystick" is very intuitive, much better than simple buttons and I use it a lot - in daylight I set brightness to 85, when it gets darker in the room I reduce brightness to 10. I can set up shortcuts on the quick menu to access brightness easier and another option easier, too.A shame it doesn't have even small speakers and the VESA holes are fiddly for the first time with rubber covers, but still 5/5, really great monitor. Will definitely use it until 4k monitors and better GPUs are at a sensible price

So my son has been playing with a 144hz 2k monitor and decided he wanted a 1080p 144hz one instead, The reason for that is so that he could play high refresh rate competitive gaming. First thing we noticed is that it doesn`t come with a uk plug which seems a odd thing for asus, has i have a asus 1080p 144hz monitor and that one did, although mine is the tuff version. The colours are great which i knew they would be on a ips monitor and was easy to setup, the only thing it lacks is the ability to use a vesa mount has there are no vesa mounts on back of monitor. Overall though a very decent 144hz ips monitor.

Power supply plug is EU not for the UK. Already replaced by Amazon only to send the same one out again, which I have the inconvenience of having to return again.
