I absolutely love this short in the denim fabric. But it is far different from the other colors fabric content. I admittedly took a chance to see if I would like the short in the other colors, even though I did see it said twill. It’s hard to judge from a picture online until you get it in hand. This fabric did not look good in person, and I knew from looking at it washing and drying would be problematic. Even if you were to air dry, this is not a friendly fabric either in look or care. It’s disappointing because as I shared earlier, it just looks great in the denim style. Too bad they couldn’t make it in a different fabric, it would be a best seller. I returned this one and the color stone as well.

I started out with a size 14 in the light denim and really, really liked everything about them. Particularly the length. The older I get the longer my shorts get out of decent necessity :) The denim shorts were a pull on style that has become a favorite of mine. The white ones are a different fabric content which I was expecting per the description. However, I wasn't expecting the white ones to have a button & fly. That being said they fit beautifully in the size 14. I have not worn or washed the white ones yet but am not at all concerned how they will launder. I have washed/dried the blue pull-ons and they appear to be bullet proof and just get more comfortable with each wearing as they conform to my body shape (just like a favorite pair of jeans) For sizing reference, I'm 5'8", 185 lbs, 42C bra and have an extremely short waist, sporting the bulk of my weigh in my mid section. I'm typically a size 14 on the bottom at my current weight and these shorts fit as expected. They are very pricey but I find them well worth it.

I ordered five pairs of denim shorts and these were the most expensive by nearly $20. I didn't want to like these as much as I did (I'd rather like the $20 ones!) They were so comfortable and fit so well that I decided to keep them. Good thing I did as I've absolutely lived in them all summer. They have held up SO well. I wash on cold, dry for 20 minutes, then hang to dry the rest of the time. The fit is great - waistband holds me in a bit and the length is perfect for me (in my mid 40's, so the short shorts aren't really my thing!) I've ended up buying one more pair and am shopping for more. I am 5'6 about 160. The size 10 were perfect.

I’m usually between sizes and I knew these often ran large, so I ordered the smaller size and they were still huge! So it’s hard to say how comfortable or flattering they were. Size down at least one size.

These shorts cost a lot more than others, but they are well worth the price because they are also of a higher quality in fabric, design, and construction. I am 5' 6 1/2" and weigh about 150 lbs. I am normally a size 8 in most things and the size 8 of these shorts fit me well. They are not loose, but they are not tight or form fitting either. The length is perfect for me (mid-50s). It took me having Mother's Day gift cards to finally purchase these and I am so glad that I did.

They fit me so well, and are so comfortable and flattering. They are the only shorts I wore out of the house this summer, because I am sensitive about my legs and I actually felt good in these. They were pricey, but money well spent. After wearing them and washing them for one season, I am confident they will last multiple years.

I am 5'3'' 135 lbs. I am a little thick in the middle and a bit short waisted. 68 yrs young. These shorts fit great and make me look 10 lbs thinner. They are smooth through the waist and the waistband does not roll over. I love the length and if you prefer them shorter you can roll them up and they still look good. Good craftmanship(well made). They will definitely be my go to shorts for the summer.
