Good Design but had to modify
Lots of complaints about the fittings being plastic. Yes the square wall piece and main cube are plastic, however the quality is decent and the main brass fitting is well made and solid. Like all Grohe products, I buy because of the industrial design, and this one doesn't disappoint, it's a sound design that will stop shower water seeping into your wall if fitted tight & proper. The only issue I had was that my shower feed was buried in the wall and so the main cube piece had to have some plastic shaved out to fit... just filed it down, no problem. If your shower feed female thread is flush with the wall you won't have this problem. Happy with the product.

Looks Lovely, but only lasted 5 minuets
Bought this last month and knew it was plastic. But we don't use the hand shower often so thought we would go with it.. however after being installed last week and literally used once or twice to clean the bath out, we have noticed the chrome is already starting to peel away.! Thankfully they are sending us a new one and I'm hoping this wont happen again! I hope this helps
