I am 65 and and 5’3”. I want a an e-bike that was short enough my feet can be almost flat on the ground. I know most riders don’t want their feet flat on the ground due to less leg extension, but the leg extension isn’t as important to me as me feeling safe. I did have to move the seat back to make it comfortable to pedal with the seat so low. The seat post goes down to about 27-28 inches so it works well. I wish there wasn’t so much assembly. My husband has a different brand folding e-bike that came fully assembled and had like the spray in foam to keep it ultra protected during shipping. Getting the front wheel on was a bear. For the seat height I wanted we had to move the rear cargo basket back so we could only use 2 screws - I added some black zip ties to secure it more. When it kicks in, you feel it but it is smooth and doesn’t make it feel out of control. We practiced at a park with lots of roads and flat grass so we had a perfect practice area to learn. I love how I can set the max speed per pedal assist level through the app on my iPhone. I may have to send to back- waiting to hear from support because it is next to impossible to fold and unfold even with 2 strong men doing it. That won’t work for me since we plan to take it almost weekly to trails. I didn’t buy it for street use but more for bike paths and trails. I can find and unfold my husbands e-bike just fine so there has to be an issue with the one I got. I also added an HD wide mirror on the left of mine and the mirror folds so it isn’t damaged when the bike is folded. I would have rated 5 stars instead of 4 but due to the issue we have folding and unfolding, coupled with assembly I ranked it down. I would have thought a quality check would have been done on the fold/unfold before it shipped.

This bike is very well made and is fun to ride. It is heavy and will require 2 people to assemble. Once the bike was assembled, it took about an hour. It charged up fine and was ready to ride in a few hours. This bike is very fast with speeds over 28mph easily in top gear. No issues with the ride. It was exactly as I hoped for. I am a 60 year old woman and will not be able to lift the bike alone to store in a trunk or truck bed. It is very heavy and sturdy.

Bike rides good but the light won’t shut off even when bike is powered off.. really annoying having to unplug and replug the cords

Bike did work out of the box. However, they worked to resolve any issues.

I’ve contacted hey bike customer care 3 time for a replacement part and gotten know where! All I needed was a replacement cylinder for the battery lock …. They are clueless

I've had a Heybike Ranger for 1 yr now in my garage; its never been used because it was too heavy for my teenage daughter and there is no recourse like some other brands offer. I purchased unfortunately from the manufacturer and not from Amazon. Do not purchase unless you are over 21.
