Do not buy
Unfortunately it does not do what is advertised to do and is a waste to my money. Tried returning and missed the window so I am stuck with it to just throw out.

Does a Satisfactory Job at Killing Mosquitos, Solar Recharging not so Great...
This portable rechargeable bug zapper light does attract and kills mosquitos at a satisfactory level. The zapper is constructed pretty well, and the battery does last quite a while before needing a recharge. The blue light mode does seem to attract mosquitos more effectively than the regular light mode, so if that's your targeted pest then use the blue light mode. Cleaning the unit is not too hard, just unscrew the bottom off the container and use the small cleaning brush provided and/or shake the unite a bit to empty out the dead bugs. The battery lasts about 4~8 hours depending on the lighting mode you use. Charging the unit from dead to full seems to take about 5~6 hours when plugged in via USB C. As for the solar recharging... it's pretty terrible at charging in the sun. I've put this unit three times under direct sunlight for 4+ hours in the Californian summer days (clear sunny sky) and every time I turned it on it only lasted like 5 minutes. So, unless my unit was defective, I would stick to charging it with the USB C cable. Now the effectiveness of the zapper seems to vary. This one time I seen a mosquito land on my desk and wanted to see firsthand it fly into the zapper, so I put the zapper mere inches from it on high blue light setting and it just stood there for like 5 minutes straight not moving. I forced it to move by moving some stuff around, but unfortunately that particular mosquito did not get zapped by the zapper. So, I would assume that some mosquitos are just smarter than others. The zapper does work, but it won't be 100% effective vs all mosquitos!Overall, the zapper does a satisfactory job at eliminating mosquitos, maybe not killing them all, but even taking out most of them is better than not killing any at all! I would recommend this device for anyone who wants to thin out the Mosquito population around their home, or just as a nifty tool to have to combat mosquitos on a camping/hiking trip. Just remember that the solar recharging capability results might vary with your unit...
