The device that is placed on the dog and the transmitter is difficult to connect, impossible to know when it is really connected. You can hear the sound that indicates that it is connected when in fact it is not. The product did not emit any signal no matter how far I was from the emitting equipment. Since it is so hard to know if it is connected or not I tried to test it several times on different days before using it with my dog. After many attempts, one day when I was in my garden, a car passed by and the device connected, discharging a strong electric shock that would have killed or disoriented my dog because it never emitted the sound it should emit prior to the electric shock. A short time later it discharged electricity again while I was in the same place where I was dozens of times trying to test the equipment and it had not been activated. The next day there was a storm and it began to emit the sound that it had to emit prior to the electric shock with the 2 elements together in the box where it came and it never stopped ringing until the battery ran out. It is definitely useless. Thank God I tried it before using it. Please if you love your dog don't buy this.

Works better than I expected. Good for a smaller yard.

This shock collar was shocking my dog at random times when he was inside the invisible fence line. I came home and the collar was in constant shock mode. We are unsure how long it had been shocking him for. My fiancé had to rip the collar off of our dog. I will be sending this product back immediately. It also shocks at random times when he is inside the house and sleeping. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR ANIMALS!!!

Had to return. Would not work.

The set-up was fairly easy BUT it is not functioning. I made sure it was charged, paired, etc. but when I walked out of the range it did not beep nor did the shock function ever come on. I returned the original unit and asked for a replacement. Will keep posted to see if the second unit works.

This is a good option for training your dog but not a permanent solution. The instructions are pretty straightforward fairly easy to set up. But we'll take some time to set boundaries, etc...

We couldn’t get the receiver to pair with the transmitter, directions were easy but they look like were written by someone with the grammar skills of a second grader. Frustrated that we couldn’t get it to work

The range changes everytime I'd try and test it. Set on the same boundary level but would go off 20-60 feet different everytime. Then it continued to shock even once back in the barrier until I was with 30' of the transmitter.
