I had explored getting an ergonomic cushion for my office chair to help support my lower back, and discovered that there are so many options. I landed on this one as it was priced well and looked and sounded like it was made well.The cushion is firm (but very comfy) and not squishy or soft. You have to like that firmness. I personally like that as I feel it's very supportive. I purchased it to help with lower back pain from sitting all day and working and also some mild hip pain when getting up after sitting for some time. I find that it relieves pressure from my back, and no more hip pain, so I have found it very helpful and comfortable. I find it also makes me focus on sitting up straight while sitting because it's supportive in the right ways and makes you sit properly vs. my sitting in my normal bad sort of slouchy posture in front of my computer while working :)I like that it has a nicely textured, waffle pattern, high quality cover. It has a zipper so you can remove it and wash it to keep it fresh.Because it is a stiffer type of cushion, it does keep you elevated from the base of your chair and so I personally think you would benefit from having a seat cushion under your feet to elevate your feet as it may be uncomfortable otherwise for your legs if you are sitting for a long time. I'm 5'7" so fairly tall for a woman and still have the need to rest my feet on top of something to keep them comfortable due to the height of the cushion. I have a little stool under my desk where I rest my feet when sitting on it and it's perfect. I know they sell items you can rest your feet on under your desk as well.I read reviews on other cushions on how they lost their shape after a short time. There is no hint of that happening with the one I purchased as it has a firmer memory foam than maybe some of the other options out there.I recently wanted to test how easy the cover was to remove and wash and then put back on the memory foam pillow. It worked great. I did have to fuss with the zipper at first when removing the cover as it got stuck on the side fabric but it was easily rectified. The cover was washed, did not shrink in any way and was easy to slip back into the cushion and zip closed. I was very happy about that!I would recommend this personally, but everyone's comfort needs are different. I don't see any quality concerns at all with this item. It's just a matter of liking the firm but comfy nature of the product. I'm very happy with how it's helped alleviate lower back and hip pain when getting up from working at my computer all day.

Game changer for my gaming chair. This is a very durable easy to wash perfect size and super firm seat cushion. Id feel so much pain if i didnt use this on my chair daily. It doesnt flatten or change shape, its very thick and great value for money. This product lasts. Buy it!

The cushion is very firm (which I like/prefer--other comments noted it was too firm).The height of the cushion is good and may be helpful with my posture while sitting in my office chair.The photo of the cushion is misleading as it seems to suggest that the back of the cushion rises up as if it will support the lower portion of your hips--NOT TRUE. The length does extend the cushion to the back of my chair but it is not as flared as the photo would suggest.The sizing of this cushion increased the length compared to an earlier cushion I was using but the width is approximately the same as my old cushion.The raised edge at the front of the cushion supports my thighs--initially it seemed strange as the earlier cushion I was using did not provide similar support in that area.The cushion was shipped in the container from the manufacturer--however, the ends were not secured with tape. The cushion was folded in half and inside a plastic bag/cover--one end of the plastic bag/cover was open. The weather had been wet, I expect the cushion would have been impacted.I am reviewing this cushion after receiving and using it only for a short time. I am guessing that like all cushions, the more that one sits on the cushion the more it will adjust to one's body/bottom.Perhaps it was time for an updated cushion for my office chair given the extensive use the older cushion endured.Overall, if you want a firm to very firm cushion that supports your thighs, then this seems to do that job.

This cushion is as described. This is the second one I've gotten. I've had the first cushion for two years, and it's been on my office chair the bulk of that time. I got another one because I've been taking it off of my office chair and have been putting it in the car whenever I've had to go out of town. I got the second one for two reasons: first, the cost of the cushion is reasonable, it's sturdy, and hasn't shown wear; and frankly, I've gotten tired with switching it in and out of the house and into the car, etc. I like the cushion and recommend it.

This cushion is very comfortable. We used it on a 2 hour trip and it helped. Perfect size for us too. It helped with being able to sit in the car and not hurt.

I am really not satisfied with the seat cushion's performance.

This seat is EXTRA LARGE and I'm filling it out??? It does fit perfectly, but with little room to spare. I'm 5'11" 155lbs, slender build. I could not imagine another larger person using this...
