The author gives a good, concise cross section of what it means to be described as a genius.
He brought up some interesting points about the traits we often attribute to someone referred to as a genius and how this can vary depending on the stage they are at in their development. There are likely more undiscovered genius's out there than we can imagine. Because notoriety is not typically important to them, many may remain that way!

Great Read and Analysis of Creative Geniuses.
Peter Hollins provides an excellent analysis of creative geniuses and the characteristics they all seem to have in common. He explains the characteristics that helped men like Einstein, Socrates, Descartes, Tesla, Edison, Copernicus and Galileo discover new truths as they pushed society forward with their thinking. In the last chapter, he shows how someone like Abraham Lincoln, possibly not a genius, could use these same skills to be an excellent communicator and breakthrough thinker in the time he lived. All of us may not have the IQ of a genius, but we can certainly incorporate some of these characteristics into our own lives and make ourselves more creative, productive and successful. For those who would like to improve their ability to think outside the box, analyze problems deeply and creatively solve them, this book is for you!

Just ok
The book lists common traits found in geniuses and provides historical examples. It's readable but I felt it lacked depth and surprise. It's quite predictable throughout and repetitive. Also, using recent or current examples would have been more interesting and relevant, as people relate better to those they have some knowledge or link to, rather than historical figures.
