I loved this hands free leash. My dog is about 15 lbs and probably won't be more than 20 full grown. She is 9 months old. The hook that fastened to her harness was huge. Looked like you could use it on a German Shepherd. I loved the padded waist, the red colour, the length and that the leash didn't move on my waist so she couldn't cross over in front of me when she walked. I had to return it because of the fastener size. If I remember correctly I ordered a hands free leash for a small dog.This is the reason for a 4 star rating.

We were debating getting the Ruff Wear running leash/belt that has some give, but decided that a rigid, non-stretch leash would be better. The range of adjustability for the waist fit as well as the leash length is great. Both my wife and I can use it and give our dog the amount of lead necessary for the terrain. Great value.

I got this for our new standard. Daisy is 40 lbs and a bad puller! Her last home that neglected her didn’t walk her on leash so she only walks when the rope is at it’s tightest. My hands are my livelihood at work and the extra strain from holding a leash wasn’t helping my tennis elbow/carpal tunnel symptoms. I got this on a Whim and I LOVE IT! Perfect to use when we go hiking or on long walks or just when she’s trying to bolt across the yard at 10 pm for a squirrel it’s too dark for me to even see! Seems very sturdy and the fit was perfect for my waist and the adjustable length makes it perfect to let her walk a bit farther from me to potty or to have her closer to me when we’re out and about.

My 62 lb lab is awesome with loose leash walking and walks beside but for some reason, he walks a little behind me when I use this leash. I really like that he is giving me lead room.

This thing is sweet, super adjustable waist so I can have it sit high or lower and I love that you can adjust the length of the leash. 12 out of 10

I researched extensively trying to find a truly adjustable hands-free leash, and this one is the best! It wraps around the waist and then the piece that connects the waist strap to your pup is adjustable. I don't know why this isn't the first one that comes up when you type in "adjustable hands-free dog leash."The leash is sturdy and the colors are beautiful--it's perfect!
