As part of my new water cooled build, I did not want to compromise on the motherboard as the other components were all high end. The water loop alone was just shy of £900 so I had to get a board renowned for water cooling, so after a lot of research I went for the Formula X. Not cheap, but in my mind a reassuringly good quality piece of kit in my very expensive investment.I have always seen the motherboard as the part that justifies all the expense of the other components so why compromise?! It has a brilliant sound chip, as well as high end WIFI. All the PCB components are as highly rated as you can get. The water block is an EK (read top quality), it has RGB with knobs on (if you are into that sort of thing) and it weighs a ton! The BIOS was a bit iffy out of the box in that it did not like my OPTANE drive, but after an update all is good!Very satisfied!
