A minimalist running shoe designed with the road in mind, our Mix Master Move Glide creates a softer ride for your stride. 8mm of heel cushioning to 4mm under the ball of the foot creates a cushioned, 4mm platform over a thinner Float midsole that gives you greater ground feel and control with less impact.

Loving my work out buddy!
I bought this shoes because I need a replacement for my 2 years old skechers tennis shoes. I was looking for something colorful and chic look minus the heavy weight and merrell shoes has it! This is now my work out buddy. Its very light and comfy. I love the aqua green color. I am 6 and 1/2 and It fits true to size. Im wearing an ankle sock, i have a normal arch support and i found it still very comfortable. The breathable mesh covering definitely help with the comfortability. I got this last month and I have been using it almost everyday when I work out. It still looks new and hasnt shown signs of wear and tear yet. The only thing I noticed is that the padded tongue of the shoes are not the same length. i found the right shoes' tongue to be slightly longer than its pair. Its odd but overall i think this is a keeper.

Attractive shoe with a few compromises.
I normally don't buy shoes that have this much stack height since I need to feel the road to be happy. I want the true barefoot experience in my shoes, and the Vapor Glove is the only Merrell that fits that definition for me right now. However, I'm having some problems with one knee, and the physical therapist urged me to get a shoe with more structure and arch support. I'm happy to say that this shoe pleases the p.t. without compromising too much on comfort. A stack height between this shoe and the Vapor Glove would be fantastic, but after trying lots of shoes this one seems to be the least bothersome, and the heel rise is doable. The arch isn't even too intrusive, and the padding on the heel and tongue is okay, comfy without pushing my foot in odd directions. That said, I love the looks of this shoe! I have the Blue Depths, and the combination of greens and blues, with a touch of hot pink is perfect. Nothing boring here! I still think barefoot is healthier for your feet, but if you want or need a little more padding and arch, this shoe is for you. I'm giving it four stars instead of five for my own quirky reasons - I just want less shoe.

The perfect shoe for trails
When I went for a run on trails wearing these shoes for the first time, it did take some time getting used to. My calves were a bit sore, but I was able to adjust very quickly. They are perfect for trails because in these shoes I am able to feel the ground - roots, rocks, and anything else you may step on while running on a trail. I definitely prefer running in these shoes when hitting the single tracks. I read previous reviews that they run big and to buy half a size smaller. I bought half a size smaller and they are the perfect fit. They are very light and extremely flexible. I would not recommend wearing these on pavement - stride and how you hit the ground are usually different between trail and pavement.

Very comfortable; little more rise and cushioning than the barefoot models, but still fairly minimalist
Nice lightweight, flexible shoe with just a bit of a rise from toe to heel and a little cushion in the sole. If you're looking for something that gives a little more in those departments than the barefoot models, but without the bulk of so many other walking/hiking/running shoes, this could be what you're looking for. These work well for me for every day use - running around in all day, or taking walks. Color is as vibrant as it appears in the photos - love the "Blue Depths"! It has more of a mesh-like upper (not completely transparent mesh, but still probably not going to be one I choose on a rainy day), and I'm not sure how the soles hold up on wet surfaces yet. I've had trouble with slipping with the barefoot models on wet smooth surfaces where I haven't with other Merrell models. These seem to have soles similar to ones that have given me better traction. I chose "fit as expected" because these fit like my barefoot models and most other Merrell shoes fit - which is to say I usually have to buy a half-size shorter because I actually need a narrow, and Merrells usually run large enough that I can get the half-size smaller to compensate for the larger width. Looks like Merrell has come up with another winner!

The greatest training shoes around!
These are the best shoes around. It's such a challenge to find shoes that fit and are comfortable, so when I found these, I ordered 6 pair (all different colors!). I get so many compliments on the way they look, too. Great colors, great fit, and they hold up well under heavy use. After a year of, again, HEAVY USE (exercising daily outdoors), the soles are in good shape and I haven't had any issues with wear and tear on the uppers. I occasionally throw them into the washing machine, too, and they don't seem to mind!

Not as great as they look
These a nice shoes. I've run in them twice and they have pretty good support. They feel a bit narrower than I had hoped. The sides also come down quite low so sometimes I feel like my heel and foot will slip out. It never has though. All in all, these look great and feel pretty good. Might wear out quick though.

Good overall, but here's what I don't like about these shoes...
In every other pair of Merrell's I have (all Bare Access Arc 2 or 3), I can take out the insoles and still have a comfortable shoe. In these, however, when I take out the insole, there is no cushioning left in the remaining footpad. So, I resorted to adding a pair of--thinner--Dr. Scholl's insoles to replace the ones that came in the shoe. Now they are pretty comfortable. Plenty of foot and toe width, but not much toe _height_ with the manufacturer's insoles. They do not fit me as well as the Bare Access Arc line (again, not as much toe room, specifically height). However, I am keeping them because, ironically, I like the look better. I have since ordered and received more of the Bare Access Arc 3, and, for me, they are the most comfortable shoes ever. YMMV.

Great shoe!
I have had this shoe in another color for about 10 months. Loved it so much I bought another pair. I wore the first pair on a tour of Turkey, and the next pair is going with me to New Zealand. They have plenty of room for my wide foot to swell a bit while I'm traveling, and then I can tighten the laces once I'm moving again. I love the support in my arch and the flexibility of the sole, as well as the light weight. I'll keep buying them as long as they are available.

Great all round shoes
I love these shoes - really comfy, and great sticky soles. Wide fitting across the toes, good arch and heel support. I use them in the gym and for trail running.

Geht Richtung Barfuß-Schuh

Perfect in all ways
I purchased this for my wifeAs always, delivery before time by Amazon and perfect packaging (Thanks Amazon)About the product:Perfectly fitting, according to size (6.5). My wife usually wears UK 6, and we were contemplating between 5.5 and 6.5; we settled for 6.5 and it turned out great. 5.5 would have been a little tight for her. I too have Merrell shoes, so a bit of calculation here and there, and we decided on 6.5.Sole awesome, flexibleNo cramping to toes at allMesh body makes it all the more betterAnd above all, like all Merrel shoes, these are super smart looking shoes.

Bequemes Leichtgewicht
