Lights up the garage. Hope it lasts for years

Hung above our garage door opener so it comes on when you open the door, plenty of light just don’t look right at it.

A super bright light at a nice price. My main gripe is that the whip is a little short, which means that it has to be wire to a junction box, only a short distance away. Really wish it was 3'-ish at minimum. But the price can't be beat! The light output/temperature seems nice and consistent also. I would recommend at least a basic understanding of electrical install before wiring, as there's no car cap....

I really like these UFO style lights, they go up easily, they're generally weather-proof, they offer low power consumption, and they provide anywhere from decent- pretty good- great- excellent or WOW light, depending on the wattage they are, and how high you hang them. This one falls in-between decent and pretty good. This is my second of these 100 watt "mining lights" as the sticker on the back says, I want them for my garage. I want the interior of the garage to be as bright as the outside, on a summer day. These will be "filler" lights, where the 150 watt and 200 watt lights miss, due to the mainly "down-casting" of the light from these things. Anything is better than dragging a dual head light around, with an extension cord all over. But this one is not "100 watts". It is around a 70 watt light, as shown on a power meter in the pics. The power factor is great at around 94 out of 100. Some of these lights advertised as "100 watts" are pretty close, but not this one. No amount of bug-eyed beads on the lens will correct that either. Overall, this one is a 5 star light, except for the overrating by the manufacturer of the actual wattage of this light. So it gets a 4 star for that. Look over the pics, and you can see what it is pulling.

The design is simple, but has a cool look. Note that this is a light that needs to be hard-wired, so some facility with electrical wiring is suggested. I mounted it to a rafter in my garage, right over my car bay. It gives ample light for me to work under the hood. I used larger mounting hardware than supplied, but that's personal preference (I prefer not to have the light fall on my head). It's reasonably priced and I have no problem recommending it.

Just used one of these to light up a concession area at our church's youth rally. This easily lights up a 40 foot by 40 foot area almost as bright as day. We were very pleased with the lighting making the working area an easy place to cook because of the great lighting.I plan to use these to replace florescent lighting in my workshop and garage.

It’s a decent looking light for my hallway. Although I’m not sure how to mount it, since the holes for the screws are too large. I don’t think it will hang securely. I will have to change the hardware. I shouldn’t have to do that. It’s a simple two wire connection. No ground wire, but I’m not worried about that for a hallway light.I like that I can add a dimmer to it and change the Kelvin temperature of the light. I like a high, cool Kelvin temperature in my hallway
