If you like the look of these, as I did, and order them up, be aware that both ends of the legwarmer are the same diameter. That means when stretched to the very largest constrictor tight size, 16 inches will be the maximum size these leg warmers will go round, and that is at Maximum stretch. If the top part of your leg is smaller than 16 inches, you will fit the small. If you run a measure round your leg at the top where you anticipate the legging will stop and its larger than 16 inches, small is not going to do it for you. Instead you'll have nice long leg warmers that can't be pulled up to the height you want to pull them up to. There is elastic in these, but if you have ever owned a pair of socks that would not stretch out sufficiently, you may have a sense of how these feel, it is not a soft stretch, but a very short hard stretch . This means they Do stay up, but are not very comfortable. I thought, I won't launder them till I've worn them 3 or 4 times, maybe they will stretch. Sorry gals, it's not true... they have not relaxed at all. I got the dark green. Its a nice color, but I discovered you only want to wear these in the very clean environment. Don't sit down on a lawn, don't walk into a work shop, don't go skipping through a meadow, don't visit a friend with pets, don't sit in a dirty car, or you'll find these are literally covered with bits of light colored stuff that you must pick off. They made me feel a bit self conscious about checking to see what I might have picked up inadvertently. I notice after the 4th day of wearing them that they tend to pill where your legs brush together. On the plus side, they are cute, they have lovely cable knit patterns, are long enough to go up mid thigh if you have really skinny legs, the laces are large diameter and do show up a little, though I keep wishing they were a different tone of color that would contrast subtly with the legging, as they only show the smallest amount, mostly by virtue of the dangling tie off area. Perhaps if you buy two and transfer the laces from one to the other....? They are reasonably warm, but the tightness of diameter and constriction of them makes them much less warm than others I've tried.

I’m not a large lady (size 0/2 and moderately athletic), but they were still way more snug than I anticipated. On the first wear the seam started to come undone, so I had to restitch it. They’re adorable though, so I still plan to wear them with tight pants.

Got these because I was having problems finding long warm socks for working outside. Now I can layer them over my socks. I do like the ties they keep up pretty high on my leg for the work day, usually they stay just over my knees, though I can pull them up thigh high. I am pretty thin so thigh high may not be for everyone. Really hoping the black comes back in stock I would love to get another pair.

Bought to wear over an arm brace post cast removal. The Velcro straps kept grabbing on everything and scratching my skin. These extra long ones fit wrist to shoulder. And excellent alternative use. Well made and comfortable

Got these to wear with boots at Christmas. Love them. The material is thick and soft, the design attractive, and the ties that wind up your leg add both visual appeal and assistance in staying up. Oh, and the wine color is just beautiful. Some toe polish to match, and they could also be a pretty addition to night wear in the cold months. Very glad I bought them.

More than likely because my thighs are a bit too thick, over all though it's really nicely made and I enjoy the feel, but I can barely pull it over my knee :-(

These were gorgeous, soft, warm, and well over my knee at 5'10. I didn't like the wrap around ties, and didn't want to risk ruining them to cut them off (very well made!!), so I sent them back :(

Super soft, they feel like cashmere and also they're just as pictured!!! They fit great and the ties make it so they can't fall down like other brands. I'm 5'11" and they go all the way up to my thighs. Love them!! Highly recommend!!
