Got this for a little girl's bday and she absolutely loved it. Great toy for the price and has a lot of cool functions. Would buy again.

My daughters both have one. They love how it functions. They’ve had their lamps for 5 months and play with them weekly and it still works great. It has a pretty decent battery life. It is quite loud so if you need for it to be quiet make sure the kids aren’t right next to you lol the smell is quite strong. It is probably the one and only thing I do not appreciate about the toy. I have an air purifier and when the “potion” comes out of the spout in the form of vapor, it makes the air quality on my purifier turn red which is a little concerning. So if you let your little one play with it make sure it is in an open space with a window open. Other than that it was worth the value.

These products never cease to amaze me! They are so cool. Easy to operate, and you literally see the Mixie appear right before your eyes. It's not only fun for my little girls, but is also something a mom or dad wouldn't mind doing with their kiddos. These are my favorite thing to purchase my little ones as they are so amazed when their Mixie is created.

The Genie lamp looks very cool but has too many steps to get it open and the Magic Mixie to pop out. The Mixie is not easily put back in the lamp either. This should be good for OVER age 8.

A bit expensive, but my granddaughter loved it, She needed adult help setting it up

I’m an adult and I was amused. I bought it for a 4 year old, but I kept wanting to play with it. A little kid will need adult help to get through all the steps.

The media could not be loaded. I thought my 6 1/2 year old granddaughter would love this and she did! However, after raising four kids and now our grandgirl, we’re pretty good at putting toys together! 😂 WHOA!!! This toy reads so easily through the many steps before it actually works, so be prepared. (Yes, you WILL be very much helping if you’re buying this for a younger child like mine!) It’s a cool toy and when we FINALLY got it working, she was very excited to ask it wishes, we had to make wishes and she’s convinced that she’s magical, so it was worth all the trouble and meltdowns! Lol!It’s plastic, of course, and you need to put the genie lamp/teapot on a hard surface like a table. Odd as this sounds, the child bangs on the teapot a lot - some out of frustration with it not always working - so I’m wondering how many tappings/knockings and frustrated HARD knockings it will take to break the teapot!!It’s a great idea and toy, it’s just super just really picky about the steps to get to the point of being able to make a wish and have your genie talk!!!
