I made a headband wig just now and the guides were helpful. I had to do my own guides when I got up top though. The wig was too thin but I was able to go in between the guides and see more tracks in. The head size was perfect. The T pins helped hold the cap / wig in place. I just wish more guides were at the top for making headband wigs.

I used this product to draw the lines on my ventilated wig cap to keep the lines straight. It worked wonderfully 💓

I like the guidelines, but pins are hard to insert due to the type of material the mannequin head is made of.

This head is nice because it’s easy to clean. I use them for coloring wigs and this is by far the best. The holder that attaches to a table is great too because it stays put.

This is a great manikin head. The reference lines help a ton when I was styling the new hair.

The wig stand is covered with a leather like fabric. The clamp is easily inserted into the base of the wig head and is wide enough to clamp on a variety of thicknesses. We cosplay and wig stands are needed to keep the hair in good shape until it's needed for dressing in the costume. We never know what's going to be available to clamp the wig stands to or how large or small it will be. I think this clamp will work with almost anything. It comes with a carry bag to make transportation easy. And it comes with a small box of pins to hold the wig in place on the wig head. It has everything. From the good way it's made I expect it to last a long time.

I haven't made a wig yet so I don't know how accurate the guidelines on this wig head are but they are there. It came with a short wig stand, which is just okay. It will stand up on a level surface but I'm not convinced that I could style a wig while it's on the stand without it tipping over. The head itself is nice a and firm, it fits perfectly on my own wig stand. I will update after I make my wig.
