Suburban SW6D Rv Water Heater Camper Trailer Lp Gas w/White Door

Package arrived quickly and without damage. This was an exact replacement for my rusted SW6D. Installed and worked as expected. I did the install myself after watching a few YouTube vids.Change your anode rod regularly folks. I could have saved me a lot of time and money by just doing regular maintenance.

Had to order switch as it was not included but the water heater and door shipped promptly, packaged well. This was to replace an American Standard 16 year old non functioning unit with a manual pilot. Wow now my old truck camper feels uptown, an inside switch with direct ignition, flip it and you get hot water. A local mobile RV guy came to the house and installed this for me. Installation looked pretty straightforward, the only problem was when cutting the opening for the switch through 3/4" plywood his saw blade broke.

Only problem I have with the hot water heater was that there was no paperwork tell me it was a suburban hot water heater or that I had screws or paperwork or warrantee or anything like that in there but other far as putting it together in installing it very sweet nice and easy took me about 30 minutes

Replaced an old unit that was corroded with this one. At least the old one heated the water. This thing gives barely lukewarm water in 75+ degree weather. I have to use only the hot water tap when trying to clean anything. Waste of money, get a different unit.

Great replacement for our leaking rusty one. The only difference is this door has a hinge (great for not losing door in travel) which make the overall front a little larger than our previous one. This heater sticks out more but it does not look that bad. Fairly easy install for do-it-yourself prople.

The water heater came with every thing i needed for a professional installation. My camper now has an upgraded water heater that looks like I paid someone to install. Works great!

Doesn't fit what it said it would fit. Had to pay restocking fee.

Re-habbing a 42 year old camper. Had to re-route some pipes and wires, but I got it working. Heats up FAST!!Old water heater was OE; pretty slow.
