These have good output , Exceeded my expectations , I A&B them in my shop with others $100 or more and these won over for me, Very pleased with the first usage at my show with no haze or fog

The light performs well and looks great, but because it’s an “off-brand” light major DMX programming software won’t recognize it in their fixture libraries. So you’ll need to program the channel configurations manually and keep them documented as there’s no online resource to look them up and few people own it.

This is a cool little light, but it's off-brand and thus does not behave in any lighting software. If you are using it just on its own and not using DMX is quaint; the light is pretty bright and the gobos are decent. Just not for anyone wanting more complicated usage out of it. I'd recommend the "eliminator stealth spot" it is not bad cost-wise and plays well in system, and has great features for small venues, like this light.

Good lights but not bright enough.

Bought it for a home party but have been using it every single night, wether I watch TV or read a book. Very good for the price.

We got this for a birthday party, and it really added to the ambiance. We enjoyed passing the remote control around and putting on shows for each other by trying out the different settings. Since getting this, having parties without it aren't quite as much fun. After a difficult day, sometimes it's nice to come home, turn on some mellow tunes and enjoy the colorful display, It really boosts my mood!

It's amazing to me that, just a decade ago, you would have paid as much just for the bulb for a light similar to this as the cost of this unit. While not a "professional" light that would stand up the rigors of touring or have the full range of features expected at a "professional" level. this moving head is terrific for DJ's, special events and small theaters. It's similar to "sharpy" moving heads, in that it is an intense beam with a very narrow beam angle (just 3 degrees). That means that the beam is a narrow shaft of light, similar to a pin beam. When activated, an 18 facet prism replicates the beam 18 times, giving you 18 beams of light at roughly 3 degrees each. Add in the 7 rotating gobos and 8-color wheel, and you have a moving head capable of a wide range of beautiful effects. Note that this light is a "special effects" light, in that it won't function as a spot or flood light--it is made to provide intense ambient effects that are most effective with haze in the air. Also note that the reference to "color mixing" in the description in the description is incorrect--the color of the beam is changed by a typical rotating color wheel, with 8 fixed colors, not through RGB mixing. The construction is good, although it is made of ABS plastic, rather than aluminum (not at all uncommon in the semi-pro space). The interface is identical to most other moving lights, so if you have ever used one before, operating the settings on this one will be intuitive. I see at least one reviewer disappointed because they mistook this light for one of those set-it-and-forget-it home "disco" lights. While it does have automatic settings, you would be far better off with a light that is not made for DMX control, like this one, if your sole use is to jazz up a home party. Overall, I think this is a great value, and the price to quality ratio for this light very good.
