My boy loves them!

I have bought a lot of catnip and catnip and silvervine toys over the years, and my cats have always gone crazy over them for a few days, and then never give them a second thought. My girl died eight months ago, so I just have my boy left, and he has been suffering feline separation anxiety ever since Abbie died. I got him these Squeak Mice Catnip/Silvervine toys, expecting one to hold his interest for a few days and then having to break out a second one. I have been amazed that he still routinely plays with the first mouse after two and a half months. I have not had to pull out the second one, yet, because the first one still drives him into fits of bunny kicks, head chewing, tail gnawing, and lying contentedly on top of the mouse. The other two are still in the bag, awaiting their turn to send him into a delighted catnip/silvervine frenzy. No other catnip product has ever been so effective and so long lasting. Could not be more pleased!---I can't mention my boy without telling the story behind his name, "Jewels". I got him and and a female tabby from a local rescue when they were six weeks old, and my late fiance named the girl 'Abbie'. She had always wanted a son named 'Julian', so when she named the boy 'Jules', I assumed she meant Jules, but she said no, she wanted to spell it Jewels. Personally, I would have gone with Jules, but I got the kittens for her, so whatever she wanted to name them was perfectly fine. However, when i took them to the vet to be neutered, I called her up and said "Sweetheart, I think we are going to have to change his name. She asked why, and i said, "We are going to have to start calling him 'No Jewels'!" Everyone who hears the story laughs out loud, but Tara didn't find it at all funny, She was decidedly unimpressed. I tried to point out that the name would not only be descriptive, but useful. After all, how many times as a kitten would we be saying "No, Jewels!"? She wasn't having any of it though. So, now it's just me and Jewels. Tara died when the cats were just two years old, and Abbie died eight months ago, when she and Jewels were 12 years old. Jewels be 13 in April.

Hours of Fun

These toys have given my fur kids much joy. I leave them around the house and they can't seem to pass one without picking it up and slapping it around. And surprisingly, they can't seem to tear them apart as they have other toys. I will purchase these again.

5 year cat acts like kitten again

My cat when I started opening the box already decided to come over and when he saw the mouse he immediately started playing with it way more than the mice I bought in the past it felt like I was seeing him with his old kitten energy thank you

Bit hit with the cat of the house

Cat likes these very much. Deducting one star because it took him approximately ten seconds to pull the little wooden bit off the end of the tail. Might have lasted longer.

Best cat toy in years!

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this one impressed me touch I had to write one as I'm ordering a 2nd pack.My kitten at 10 months was given one and it's been his favorite toy until a second kitten came along. Now, they both love them. The tail is missing on the first, it's starting to get love worn holes, but it still squeaks! I've pulled out 2 new ones and they play with them both. I'd much rather hear faint squeaking at 4am vs the previous "clatter, smash, break" of things being knocked off tables, etc.Love this toy, best cat toy I've bought in the last 15 years, easily!

Ignore most negative reviews

I've already written a review but I wanted to say for most of the negative reviews they say their cats didn't like them. That's hardly the manufacturers fault. I think they are good although I would take the twig that is attached to their tails off It will come off anyway and could be a choking hazzard to another animal

Cats love but poorly made:(

My cats absolutely love this toy. BUT after not even 5 minutes of play, the rope detached from the mouse. it seems to be made poorly or I got a defective one. the eyes and nose were attached with a glue gun, which makes me feel like my cats will eventually swallow these pieces. There’s also glue dragging across the toy’s faces that can easily be ingested. There is loose string, and pieces of fuzz that was used to stuff the mice sticking out from the jump. Lastly, these things collect dust/fur like it’s their job. My cats love this toy, but it’s really disappointing that one of them is already broken and I opened the package 30 minutes ago.
