Merax PP036982 Gaming Chair, Balck and Grey

I've had this chair for few months now. I bought it as an office chair for the reclining and footrest feature when I needed a few zzz's at the office. It is an okay chair. My biggest complaint is it is not very stable. It tends to tip over if you sit near the forward edge of the seat, like when you lean forward when you are trying to reach something. I've never had an office chair do that. A rocking feature would also have been nice with this chair but may have added to the cost. I also wish the lumbar support was adjustable, removable or something. It isn't uncomfortable but it is more than I need.

This chair is nice and comfortable. Easy to put together. Only owned it maybe 2 months and it has a rip in it right at the seem on the right hand bottom part. It's like the stitching just wasn't strong enough for daily use. Over all ok for price mad about rip after such a short period of time.

Comfortable and decent quality. Poor packaging and handling before shipping lead to defects and also a broken piece of aesthetic plastic. The pain of returning something so big is the only reason I did not do so. Otherwise a decent chair.

The best thing about the chair, is its metal base. All chairs that I have used in the past had issues with the plastic base cracking and gliders falling out. This chair is very sturdy. What I HATE about the chair is the quality of the filler material used for cushion. It was stiff when I first got the chair and I didn't think it was a big deal because of the break in period. I thought after a couple weeks it would form to my body and be just right. Well, after a few weeks it got more and more uncomfortable to sit in due to the material flattening and becoming harder. If looks are what your after, the chair looks nice and as if quality materials were used. If it is comfort that you are looking for, you will be disappointed, even the cushion in the foot rest has flattened to the point that your feet and or legs are resting on the metal bracing with in the foot rest. The lumbar support doesn't do much and for some reason has the ability to come out so far that your back feels as if it was being folded in half, not that anyone would sit like that, I just don't see the point. The chair also tilts forward just enough that you will find yourself adjusting your body to sit further back due to your butt sliding forward. I would suggest they use better padding material that doesn't break down so fast and create a cradle effect to keep your butt from sliding forward or an option to adjust the tilt of the seat in addition to the back of the chair being adjustable. I think at this point, I should of just spent the money on a quality gaming/office chair with the options mentioned above.
