OXO Tot Perch Foldable Booster Seat for Big Kids- Green

May not work for every child, but my 3yr and 5yr grandsons love their "big boy" seats! Yes, we finally retired the booster high-chairs with the high arms and snap-on trays, which were strapped and belted onto my dining room chairs for the last 3yrs.Measures: Seat height (not including back support) 3 1/4 in - width: 12 in - depth:10 in Seat height including back: 9 inches. My guys are "shorties" but they're reasonably comfortable.Pros: Sturdy plastic; back support can fold down so dimensions become: 12 x 10 1/2 x 4 1/2. Easy to store or carry along. Seems a perfect size for my boys. Well-placed rubber feet along the bottom rim do work well to hold the seat firm but only to a point.Cons: Energetic kids may find it an enjoyable challenge to make the seat shift on the chair. My boys can't pull themselves toward the table edge like they could when the baby seats were firmly strapped to the dining chairs, however they can still push away and get down by themselves (they like that. Sometimes I don't.) I wouldn't recommend these seats for bar or counter chairs.Summary: I like having my dining room chairs back, and the boys quickly adjusted to the new freedoms they have with the OXO Booster, so I'd say it's a win-win for my family. And well worth the price. These little seats are easy to clean, easy to tote and come in decent colors. If I could suggest a modification - maybe crossing straps attached center bottom that could wrap around the big chair seat for more stability. Otherwise, still a good product. We've used them all summer and no one ever fellout of one. The boosters also foil the dog, so now HE stays off the dining room chairs. Good product.Follow up:One year later and we're STILL using these seats! They've developed some minor "chipping" along the top edges due to shoe-contact but are holding up remarkably well. They'll probably last much longer than the boys will be needing them, so I plan to pass them on to other tiny people.

As a foster parent, I get different ages of kids in my home and need to be prepared. I wanted to make sure kids in this age range have a boost so they don't need to sit on their feet to be able to eat at the "big kid/adult" table. I got two of these, and they work perfectly. I have medium brown stained wood dining chairs, and these look nice on them (I got the neutral tan boosters). They don't budge once you place them on the chair. They are easy to wipe off, easy to store, and I love how portable they are. After searching high and low for the perfect booster seat in this age range, I am glad I settled on these!

This item is worth its weight in gold! Lightweight, compact, easy to clean and my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves it. Love the fact is folds flat. Rubber feet make it slip-proof and stable and the back rest provides comfort. My granddaughter loves to carry it around and she is able to open and close it with ease. My daughter just borrowed it to take on a 4 day trip. Gone are the days of having to use dirty booster seats in restaurants! Can't say enough good things about this product.

My 3 year old son now wants to sit at the « big boy table » with us, thus my reason for buying the OXO booster seat.My first impression was the best, this product is great.Pros:- Beautiful and very nice quality. The taupe color goes very well with my home interior. Finally a product that fits in and doesn’t look like a baby product!- The folding feature is nice to take it to go. It is very light and compact and I have been taking it with me to restaurants and that is probably my favorite thing about this product! My son doesnt have to sit in those dirty restaurant seat boosters anymore.- Oh and so easy to wash! The food doesn’t seem to stick to the surface. Cons:- The size. Right now it fits my sons bottom very well, but I don’t think it will in a year from now. The seat is smaller than I expected.- Just be aware: There’s NO STRAPS to secure the seat! For me personally it did not matter because it seams to hold on pretty nicely to my fabric chairs. But beware! Might not be good on all chairs!All in all it is a very good product I definitely recommend it especially since you can also take it on the go to replace those dirty restaurant booster seats. Took one star away because I think it might be outgrown too quickly and possibly unsafe on some chairs.

LOVE!!!!I have very modern furnishings and this fits in perfect. The seat has some squish to it but is durable and because of it's seamless design and thoughtful way of easily detaching the seat it is too easy to clean and dry. As an interior designer and furniture designer myself I applaud oxo for making a product that functions perfectly, is easy to use, safe (nowhere for fingers to get punched and grippy feat keep it from sliding) and it doesn't make my home look like a day care. My son is 18 months. He currently uses this as a floor seat when he draws at a TV tray in the living room. When he gets older I will use it as intended as a booster at the table but because it has no seat belt it's not intended for babies so young while up high so keep that in mind.

We have now been using this product for 6 months and I can't rave enough about it. Started using it when my daughter was just under 2.5 years in a high chair up to the counter and its very sturdy, does not slide and extremely easy to clean. Also nice and small to take it along to a restaurant or grandparents house! I had read a few reviews prior to buying this that said the sides were rubbing off, but I can tell you we use it several times a day every day and have not had that problem.Updating my review from 2 years ago - we use it daily several times a day and it barely looks used. In fact invested in a 2nd one for my next child and had her start using it right at 2 - I highly highly recommend hitting add to cart!

O encosto é muito curto, não abrage as costas do meu filho de 4 anos de idade ( 104 cm de altura) ele sempre reclama pois o encosto só vai até a metade das costas, isso o deixa sem apoio e desconfortável. Eu não compraria novamente.

This is our second purchase of the Oxo Tot Perch sheet. We bought one for my daughter 3 years ago, after a LOT of research (yes, I am one of those crazy people who spends hours researching each purchase). We liked it enough to recently buy another one for my son. The seats are light, clean well and fold easily. We use them primarily at home but have transported them to other people's homes with great ease, due to how light and compact they are. They come in fun colours, which don't fade.My only caution would be that after 3 years, the seat has lost little bits of the hard foam at the edges (plus, wherever a hard object fell on it - which is understandable). So, it isn't as durable as a hard plastic seat, but I prefer it this way as it is comfortable enough that I don't get complaints about sitting on it!

Der Sitz ist sein Geld wert - er sieht gut aus, ist aus so einer Art Plaste - also abwaschbar. Und er ist sehr bequem für die Kids! Top!
