Jeep Wrangler JK 7-Pin TRAILER WIRING OEM Mopar! by Jeep

The harness is 100% a factory product from Mopar and fits my 2 door 2012 Wrangler perfectly. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because of the directions. They only provide a series of pictures of how to install it with very little wording. And if you have factory skid plates installed...you're out of luck figuring out how to route the harness. With a lot of making 3 steps forward and 2 back...it can be done. Just make sure you've got the harness away from the exhaust manifold and side of the engine once you get it up towards the front to wire it into the battery. Overall a great product, fits the Jeep perfectly, and if you have access to a lift it would make your life so much easier. I just took a 1600 mile round trip vacation with our camper from Virginia to Florida and it worked perfectly fine.

Installed on a 2014 JKU Rubicon. It fits a 4 door, but no wire to spare. Have an LOD bumper on mine and cut a hole and mounted directly in the bumper. It is a quality harness. They could add a little length to give you options for routing. You will just need to wire up the brake wire (light blue). I dont need a trailer brake at the moment so that got tucked under the dash for now.UPDATE: If you find your right turn signal isn't working swap the plugs in the twilight on the jeep. Had reversed mine and it wasn't working correctly. Found the answer on the wrangler forum, but passing it along here just in case its needed.

Just what I needed for my Jeep Wrangler to tow my teardrop camper. You will need to run an additional wire to charge the trailer battery if you need to though as the one in the harness is too small to more than a trickle at best. I ran a 6ga cable I got from here on Amazon also to do so.

It's by Mopar, so it's the same one your dealer would install. Well made, no harness hacking, all connectors are weather tight. Only four stars because of the instructions - maybe a pet peeve, but some actual words to go along with the pictures would have been nice. All in all a quality product at a reasonable (because you won't have to troubleshoot/repair bad splices a year or two later) price. If you've got a Wrangler (and this is the correct part number - do your research) this is for you. Fits 2 and 4 door JKs.

When I ordered this product I was told it would fit my four door 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara model. Upon receiving the product I learned that it is specifically for a two door Jeep Wrangler. I contacted the Mopar Sales Dept. Their response was that there is only one trailer harness made for all Jeep Wranglers. We went ahead and began at the left rear tail light. It took about a half hour to fish the harness under the Jeep and up to the engine compartment. Just as the sales department guy told me, we had plenty of harness for our application. The install was a breeze. I can't recall another Saturday project that was as easy. My only grip is that the Mopar instructions were pictures only. No written instructions. I still have to contact the local Chrysler Mechanic to figure what to connect the blue wire to that goes under the dash.The finished product has a factory look. I like the way it turned out.
