merc Men's Harrington,Jacket

I own one of this jacket from a few years ago and always loved it. So I got a new bigger one since I have gained weight. The fit is great and looks great, however the logo is now black not white embroidered, the collar also has changed, it used to be the same material as the rest of the inside but now it's just black as the outside. But the pockets have improved and are sturdier, mine broker after a few years. So all in all its a great product with a fe changes. I would buy this again happily. I have a 45" chest and a large fits perfectly even wearing a hoodie underneath, nice and fitted not baggy.

I was slightly sceptical that the quality was going to be any good when I ordered this jacket as I last had a Barracuta back in the 90's which I loved until someone stole it. However, having read all the reviews I decided that I would give it a go considering the price was around a quarter of the price of a Barracuta. It came the very next day and I was more than happy with the jacket. The quality seems fine and the style and fit were spot on. I did luckily paid attention to the reviews and the size guide and went for the large as opposed to the usual medium. I can also see where the review was coming from that was concerned with the sleeve length but as I am 5'8 it was fine for my arm length. I will definitely use the brand again and may get a summer one later (beige or light blue). Well done Merc I think this is a definite option if you don't fancy paying silly money for a Barracuta.

Absolute quality product. Perfect size and really well made. Item was as advertised and delivered ( to Ireland) very promptly, actually earlier than i expected. Not much more to say other then i am very happy and may buy another one in a different colour.

Great looking, very stylish jacket with an overall good quality, but not perfect. I've bought 100€ jackets with better built and materials quality. Just fyi, these jackets are made in China. Looking closely at the jacket one can notice that attention to detail wasn't that much of a a concern when making it, and the cotton used on the wrists and waist should be better quality (other materials are strong and adequate). On the second day, the material on the wrists was getting fuzzy and giving off fluff, which is a bad thing when you want your jacket to look new and sharp for a long time.As mentioned by other reviewers, the size is exactly one up from your usual size: I usually use Large, but with this one it has to be a XL (I bought one in Large before and had to return it).Nevertheless, it's a product I recommend: it looks great and the quality, although not perfect, is good enough.

Great jacket. Good price. Despite the shoulder design different to a Baracuta (which has raglan shoulders) I don't see the justification on spending 4 times as much. I'm a 45 chest, I ordered an XXL but it was massive. So quickly received an XL which was spot on. Good quality, and at £58 are bargain.

I previously bought this exact jacket 10 years ago. It lasted very well. The current specs are identical apart from the sizing. Their XL used to be like a UK Large but now it’s true to size. I had to swap my XL for a Large. It’s warm and very well made with a quality YKK zip. Being 60% cotton makes it a lot nicer than similar cheaper Harringtons.

Very stylish and comfortable jacket for spring/fall. I sized up to a large following the advice of previous reviews, however I recommennd staying with the medium if you have an average to slim build. I am 165 pounds and 5"10 and my re-ordered medium fits near perfectly (the sleeves are a tad short - not a deal-breaker). I am likely going to buy another in a different color in the near future.

Bought a cheap one to begin with - It was fine but fitted more like a bomber jacket - This is a much nicer fit and the material is better (which is to be expected). Second only to a Barracuta.This does not only look good a part of a Mod outfit but also looks good as casual attire. Works good on the terraces too.Nice jacket - Pleased
