It comes with a lot of pieces but it’s fun to teach my kiddo how to lace and it keeps him occupied.

Not only can the children learn how to string with this. They can also stack and sort colors. It is very multifunctional. I love how many ways that it can be used in the classroom.

I work in an ABA clinic for kiddo's with Autism, we take a collaborative approach with both ABA and OT offered on sight. Both disciplines were so excited to see this premade kit. This set is a fantastic way to start building the necessary fine motor skills needed to take on those difficult life skills like buttons, zippers, and tying laces. This is a great place to start if you've got a kiddo struggling with pincher grip and two handed tasks. The fact that the kit allows for you to titrate up the difficulty is even better! I 100 percent recommend this kit!

The media could not be loaded.  My almost 3 YO immediately loved this. It's great for building fine motor skills, and in the video you can hear he's proud, "I did it!"It's great that you can sort by size, they give you tons of colors of buttons, making this a fun set for color sorting too. The hole counting also makes this really fun.My only complaint is that it comes with a little 2 piece cat cap thing that's supposed to go over the knot. The top just doesn't stay on! They come apart so easily that I just want to not use it. I'm certain it will get lost.The plastic is durable and I'm not worried at all about it cracking.
