So good!
I did not expect to love this book so much but I really did! The connection and chemistry between Vince & Bristol was palpable and I was rooting for them since the very beginning. I loved Bristol and couldn't really blame her for how she handled things because Vince was equally at fault. I felt sorry for him but I wished he could realise some things sooner. I loved Jagger and the significance of his name was so heartwarming! He always added a breath of fresh air to the chapters! It was an easy read, there was just something about this book that made me love it so much! If you're looking for a quick, emotional second chance read this book is for you!

A heartwarming read ❤️
As this is the first book I read by the author I dived in without any expectations and my mind was blown away. The way she has written the story tugged at my heart strings. She ripped my heart out and then mended it. I was an emotional mess. Vince might have the world under his feet but he had to undergo so much pain to achieve it and loose the love of his life. He is more than the cocky rockstar the world knows. Bristol, on the other hand is sweet, strong and independent. After her heart break she mended herself together and moved forward in life. The author has written in a way that I could feel there pain. Sometimes love isn't enough especially when the time isn't right. Finally, when they get there chance it isn't easy to take the leap with all the secrets and heart breaks of past. More than once I could not control my tears. And I absolutely loved how things progress. By the end, I was felling raw and emotionally drained. I am now a fan of the authors work and will definitely read other books by her. Cannot wait for what's to come next.

Completely Loved the book and the characters in it
I just wasn't able to put the book down after the 13th chapter even ti gulp some water in this hot summer. Yes, the author just did an extraordinary job with this entire book. I couldn't stop myself from laughing at their push and pull, inspite being surrounded by the public crowd. Okay! I did cry too, feeling Vince never got be with his so for 7yrs. That's where the author deserves the praises for making us connect so beautifully with Vince and feel his pain. Regarding Bristol, she's amazing. She proved that there's no reason to stop achieving your dreams. Loved the coupleGod! I loved it... So damn much. I don't remember telling any book that I love it from earth to moon and back. Yes, because truly that's much how Vince and Bristol stole my heart.Vince - He can be a rock star to the world but for her she's always been her best friend. I adored him more as her friend. His past is completely justified for his actions but the way he came over that screaming "My wife" and "My son" just made me fall even more hard for his character.Bristol - She should be an example for people who decide on quitting their dreams. Yes, being a single mom can be hard... Like really hard but that didn't stop her from wanting to be a lawyer. The way she made sure her son was made out of love and should never feel abounded was superb cute.Jagger... Ah I loved him for picking that boots in the I love only this phase. The part where even the kid notice the way his dad and mom look at each other with the love filled eyes made me feel overwhelmed.

You’ll always own this heart of mine.
"Sweet Regret" foi uma leitura que me deixou dividida em relação ao protagonista, Vince. No final das contas, ele conseguiu me conquistar. Além disso, Vince como personagem me irritou bastante. Sua arrogância, imaturidade e foco excessivo no corpo de Bristol me incomodaram profundamente.Além disso, a quantidade de monólogos internos em itálico foi excessiva, o que prejudicou o fluxo geral do livro.

Rockstar romance written in special K Bromberg nature!
It is a second chance romance through and through! Add a secret baby on top and you will melt my heart for good! I have enjoyed Vince and Bristol’s story a lot: all that drama and tension, chemistry and banter but most of all the character development!

Pulled at my heart!
Rockstar romances are one of my favorite tropes. Sweet Regret takes the rockstar trope in a slightly different direction. We have the tragic backstory mixed with the bittersweet of a second chance love story with a big dose of angst. Not angst for the characters themselves, but more for their story. I fell immediately in love with them both. Bristol’s walls are high and she wants nothing to do with Vince even as her heart and body both reach for him. Vince has always loved Bristol but he knows he can’t keep her. Their love story pulled at my heart and I desperately wanted them to find their way to each other. This story takes some turns you anticipate, but knowing that certain things will happen doesn’t diminish their impact on the story and their path to love that is paved with jagged rocks.Time and circumstance has not been kind to either Vince or Bristol. They were high school sweethearts, but Vince walked away to achieve his dreams and let Bristol have hers. They meet again some years later, but Vince is plagued by his pain which drives him to walk away from Bristol again, the only girl he ever loved. Bristol had plans for her life, but circumstances have derailed her time and time again. As time passed, she struggled to achieve her dreams and reconcile her feelings about the man who walked away from her twice. When life brings them together a third time, will their secrets break them once again or finally give them their happy ending? This story played with my emotions time and again. At one point, Bristol is breaking and I just wanted to hug something. I love a story that makes me feel things and invest in the characters and Sweet Regret did that well. I always enjoy K. Bromberg’s stories, however I can say that this has been my favorite of hers so far.
