Book was delivered in a very timely manner, in excellent used condition as described.A welcome edition to my library!

i like this book its fun to just open anywhere and read . full of illustrations it goes well with lewis spence "the occult" i especially like the old folk cabala charms never before reproduced as far as i know. thats the whole reason i bought it's fun and goes well with a relaxing bath.

great illustrated book

I have used this book numerous times over the years. I can't tell you how many times I checked it out of the library in grad school for papers on Alchemy & related subjects. Finally I bought a copy because I used it so much. I think you will find it is an excellent resource for general information on the older practices. The illustrations are very nice to have.
