My son just started middle school. Changing classes and lots to carry. His school doesn't allow backpacks from class to class. They stay in the locker. This has helped immensely. He can carry his laptop in the outside expander area. It has a pencil pocket so he can carry all the little things he needs. He loves it and would recommend. I have had to cut off a few stray strings around the elastic, but nothing major.

The price is a little bit hefty for the actual item but my daughter loves these - the room inside, the file portion, the pocket and the expandable top part is great for an extra notebook, school book ,etc. Great for organizing all of the class work etc. It is her second one. I'm hoping Mead continues to make them like this and not at the price though (perhaps it was just bc of the color choice - we ordered the purple). If you are looking for a reliable, sturdy 3-ring 2" binder this is it.

Bought this for my son in 7th grade. The pencil case and strap on the front is nice. The strap stretches and he slides a book in there to read during downtime. He really likes the color and it stands out so he doesn’t lose it. Also large enough to hold almost all of his supplies for every class.

It’s hard to find the big binders with a zipper ( school requires) that are cute. The quality is also very good.
