Q: can i stick this over tiles? if so which adhesive is best, or will i need to drill it?

Yes mine hasn’t moved yet and it is in the shower. Seems to be pretty good

Q: What is the the thickness of the stainless steel sheet?

I couldnt tell you in measurement but its the same depth as an average small kitchen tile . I hope that helps
