On the Town (Lethal in Love Book 3)

Love. Loved this series so far. Book 3 was unexpected and awesome. Mary and Crash are hilarious together. Can’t wait to read book 4.

I enjoy the main characters. I felt it dragged a bit so actually jumped through pages. Looking forward to see what’s in store for a Rocco and Eva in Book 4.

This is a surprisingly good story. The high point is Mary's dialogue, she sounds like Gracie Allen of the Burns and Allen comedy team. She seems a little scatterbrained at times but usually makes the point, even if the trip there takes some strange turns. The story takes place at a night club over several hours as the crew try and find at least one, and maybe more potential shooter inside the club. And stop them before they can gun down bunches of clubbers. Throw in a little whinning and sex for spicing up and you have a good read for the mature reader.

Cute way to wrap up the story of Mary and Crash, maybe there will be another one…idk. I do like their dynamic and it made me laugh out loud. Like book 1.5 this one felt like there were character changes that happened, especially in the way they talked. My only critiques are these…Crash did not sound like a ignorant hillbilly in the first book, all of his “ain’t” and the double negatives got to be old and a bit trite. Second…Mary referring to Crash as “her darling” in her parts was really annoying after a while.

It did go on a bit too long though. I am unsure about Rocco - the author keeps changing his personality. Still enjoying the series and I do appreciate how the author hints at erotica but doesn't include useless page after page of elongated sex scenes.

Enjoyed this read. Mary, the female heroine, gets on my nerves often but overall she is well written. She overshadows crash’s “ crazy” just with her personally lol. Overall its a good read

Made me laugh outloud, cross my fingers and wish for more. Love this series, keep'em coming. Stars are windows for Angels, my favorite line

I love this series. It's sort of motorcycle club light. The recurring characters are a wild and crazy set. The love feels right between lovers and secondary characters have depth. In this particular story Crash takes Mary out to a club in order to pop the big question. Mary thinks he took her to a club to break up with her.During the course of the night they find dead bodies, stumble into an mass shooting situation, confront dangerous people, and spoiler...Mary finally says yes.I can't wait to see what Ms Kelly does with Mr. Blaine, Rocco, Ronald and Eva.PS... if money's tight, search out the kindle edition of "Cooked Goose", a recounting of Big Mike and Minnie's first Christmas. It's probably still a free download and it will give you an idea of the players and the setting. It's a small gem of laughter and joy. In this way you can decide if Ms Kelly's writing style is for you.

Great read. Funny dialog and humorous situations with some danger thrown in. Strong female characters. Love the series will read them all

Crash und Mary arbeiten erneut sehr erfolgreich im Team. Beide haben ihre individuelle Art und Weise zu Ergebnissen zu kommen, aber beide kommen - auf den unterschiedlichen Wegen - zum gleichen Ergebnis. Und sie vertrauen sich gegenseitig zur gleichen Schlussfolgerung zu kommen. Crash hat seine Neanderthaler-Momente, doch Mary erkennt diese als seine Art Liebe auszudrücken. Mary hingegen beharrt darauf die Welt zu retten und auch wenn Crash dies weder emotional nachvollziehen kann, noch für wichtig hält, fügt er sich doch ihren Wünschen aus Liebe zu ihr.Und so ist diese Geschichte nicht nur saukomisch an vielen Stellen, sondern hat auch Momente, wo mir die Tränen in den Augen standen. Diese beiden sind ein Traumpaar. Und da sie wissen, wie ... speziell sie sind und somit wie gering die Chance ist, dass sie einen passenden Partner finden, sind sie bereit mit Zähnen und Klauen für ihre Liebe, die Beziehung und ein Happy End zu kämpfen.Wer ein Problem mit Fluchen oder heißen Sexszenen hat, sollte einen Bogen um das Buch machen. Aber wer eine ungewöhliche Romanze zwischen zwei ungewöhnlichen Menschen erleben möchte, gewürzt mit Humor und Spannung, sollte hier zugreifen. Ich werde jetzt Buch 4 vorbestellen.

This is a brilliant series. It has everything - romance, humour, bad guys and a great storyline. This is the third book in the series and so far not one has disappointed. I highly recommend this book but suggest the books are read in order, you will not be disappointed either.

Totally loving these books. Characters have me laughing and a whole interesting friend enemy going on. Highly reccommend series. M

Page turning quirky read. Crash is absolutely besotted with Mary and the dynamic between the two shouldn’t work but it just does. Loved this book and the previous ones. Can’t wait for the follow on.
