This holder allows me to lay on my side and have my book at a perfect angle to read or play a game on my tablet. When I'm done, I just push the whole thing out of the way so I can get up and the unit maintains its position so that when I lay back down, I just pull the unit where I can see it and it's still in the perfect position for reading.

I love having one of these for my bed. It attaches nicely to the head board. The large clamp span accommodated my wooden head board and has protection on the inside of the clamp…both sides so as Not to damage the area you were attaching it to. It’s very stable. And I think it was a great value. It holds my iPhone and my iPad! (Not at the same time). LOL It’s a great product. I would buy it again! I have no fear of this falling on my face while I’m reading, watching a program or scrolling on Amazon!

I really enjoy this. My iPad Pro will fit but it is very tight. Its excellent for regular iPads, kindles, cell phones. I like that it will twist and turn a little.

I really liked it because it’s longer than most of the similar products that are available and it’s quite adjustable to find multiple good positions with it. I liked that you can loosen and tighten the various joints as well as the piece that holds the device. Unfortunately, the plastic pieces keep breaking, and that means that you cannot tighten the hinges, which means that when your device is in there it’s too heavy and the whole thing just flops down making it basically useless. If they made the adjustment knobs out of a more durable plastic or metal it would be a really fantastic product.

This thing is 1000% worth the money! If you want to have the experience of reading your kindle in bed, hands free, and snuggled under the covers, then you need this! So many people were recommending the gooseneck tablet holders, which are not easily adjustable and are very limited in range of motion. THIS product is very stable, it’s good quality, and super adjustable! I can read in bed laying on either side or on my back and can make even the most minute adjustments to get the perfect position every time. When I need it out of my way, I can just push it to rotate it. I think it’s important to note that you can make all of these adjustments one handed. The knobs make it seem like you have to loosen and tighten any time you want to adjust but that is NOT the case. They can be used to provide varying amounts of resistance for easy adjusting. Once you have dialed in to the sweet spot, you don’t need to mess with the knobs much at all. Just do yourself a favor and get this instead of the gooseneck versions.

No matter how much I tighten the joints they do not stay and the ball joint it's weak as well. Not a good buy at all

Attaches to my bookshelf headboard well, and lets me view my e-reader or phone while on my back and tucked under the covers.Luxury becomes a necessity!Only nit: the final knuckle that lets the phone pivot is a little hard to bend to the side. If you're on your back in bed, no worries though.

I bought this item on Amazon after owning two similar products for use when I'm on my iPad Pro while lying on my bed (as I do every night just before sleeping). Neither of my first two holders were particularly sturdy and both "broke" in one way or another. The most recent holder to break failed at the post at the base of the arm that fits into the clamp which is just a thin, metal tube. This new iPad holder is very solid and the post is a sturdy, solid cylinder of metal that will not fail as the previous one did. The part of the holder that hold's the iPad is sturdy and easy to use and overall it positions the iPad perfectly for comfortable use, and it stays that way without needing frequent adjustment as the other holders did. I’ve only had it for one evening so far but my first impression is sufficiently good to warrant this brief review. It’s more sturdy that the other holders and I will be very surprised if it fails like the others did.
